Weather Conditions for CENTRAL VISAYAS

possible effects of the incoming super typhoon Mawar. The
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services
Administration (Pagasa) said the typhoon is expected to enter the
Philippine area of responsibility either today or tomorrow. It will
not, however, directly affect Central Visayas but it is expected to
bring in heavy rains that may cause flash floods and landslides
prompting some local chief executives to suspend classes.

Residents in low-lying areas and on mountain slopes around

Central Visayas have been advised to take precautionary
measures due to the threat of floods and landslides, such as super
typhone Mawar.
