This certificate is issued as verification that a sample(s), representative of production, was assessed and tested and found to comply with the
IEC Standard list below and that the manufacturer's quality system, relating to the Ex products covered by this certificate, was assessed and
found to comply with the IECEx Quality system requirements. This certificate is granted subject to the conditions as set out in IECEx Scheme
Rules, IECEx 02 and Operational Documents as amended
STANDARDS :
The equipment and any acceptable variations to it specified in the schedule of this certificate and the identified documents, was found
to comply with the following standards

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:
This three-phase asynchronous motor, size 800, with frame in welded steel and endshieds in welded steel or cast iron.
Motor can be fitted with different terminal boxes and auxiliary boxes protected by flameproof enclosure or by increased safety.
This equipment is also protected by type protection "tb" for using in dust explosive atmospheres.
The terminal boxes can be fitted directly on the motors or by an adaptor. They are made in cast iron, steel or stainless steel.
Terminal or auxiliary boxes don’t communicate with the motor. The compartments are separated by bushing covered by Ex component and by
cable gland covered by separate certificate. As a variation the connection can be made through a blanking cap with an unterminated cable. In
this case the terminal boxes can be supplied in separated.
Temperature sensors may be incorporated in the stator windings and/or in the bearings.
The motor could be fitted with intrinsic safety transmitters and sensors for thermal protection and sensors for detections and control of
vibrations. They could be fitted on or inside the motor and the connexions of these devices are made in the terminal boxes.
Heating resistances may be located inside of the motor mounted on each top of the frame. Heating resistances could be also mounted inside
the terminal boxes protected by flameproof enclosures.
Terminal boxes can be mounted on the top or left/right side, located in any position of a 180° range around the upper part of the frame.
Motors supplied through a frequency inverter and motors with separated ventilation are always fitted with temperature sensors.
The motors present the degrees of protection IP55, IP56, IP65 or IP66 according to IEC 60034 - Part 5.
The terminal boxes type CG47, CEFGH340, CEFGH500, WTBX-XS, WTBX-S, WTBX-M, WTBX-L and WTBX-XL present the degrees of
protection IP66 in accordance with IEC 60529.
The motor and/or terminal boxes can be fitted with different Ex components. All components are stipulated on the annex.
As a variant, instead of cylindrical flameproof joint, labyrinth flameproof joints could be used between the inner bearing caps and the labyrinth
rings mounted on the shaft or manufactured on the shaft itself.
A drain and breathing device can be mounted on the motor or on the terminal boxes.
- The gap of the different flameproof joints is inferior to the value specified in the tables of IEC 60079-1 standard.

- The yield stress of the fastener elements of the flameproof casing must be equal to class 12.9 or stainless steel A2-70 or A4-80 as specified in the instructions.
- During the installation the user will take into consideration that this equipment underwent only a shock corresponding to an energy of a low risk.
