WEEKLY NARRATIVE REPORT

Our initial meeting with our facilitator, Mr. Marc Diego Almonicar, took place on May 27,

2023, at 1 p.m. in Google Meet. Due to our teacher's humor and easygoing nature, our meeting

was full of laughter. We gave a brief introduction about ourselves, explaining why we chose to

major in early childhood education.

Each of us has a distinct reason for deciding to pursue a profession in early childhood

education. Some are inspired to make this choice by their parents and teachers; some are

motivated to do so by their own experiences that they had when they were still children; and

some just really enjoy working with younger kids. As for me, the reason I chose to major in ECE

is because I love kids and because my mother is an elementary teacher. Back then, I really

didn’t want to become a teacher, but now I am a second-year student at PNU pursuing a degree

in teaching. Fate always brings us to choices that will surely be good or bad for us. Even though

we have different reasons why we chose to pursue teaching, we all know in our hearts that

what we want is to change the experiences of future generations of young children. To ensure

that they receive a proper education to help them grow into kindpeople in their journey towards

I was jealous of the other sections because they were assigned to an elementary school

for their deployment, while for our section we were assigned to a junior high. I was really excited

about our deployment since I expected that we were going to be deployed to an elementary

school. Even though we are going to be deployed in junior high, I still anticipated our session

with them since it would be different from handling younger kids.
