1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this statement is to document the correct procedure and installation of
unloading & positioning DAHU unit for CGK 063 project, and to ensure that all
concerned are familiar with the sequence of activities, utilization of resources and
execution of the works in compliance with applicable safety, quality procedures and
project documents and specification.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK


This method statement is the necessary measures to ensure that all installation
activities to be identified and established and approved by the Employer’s
representative. All activities will be carried out in accordance with the contract details
and in full compliance to the contract specifications will be done in compliance with
requirements issued by authorities. The scope of this plan is to provide a guideline for
the implementation of quality assurance on installation work of unloading &
positioning DAHU.

4.0 REFERENCE
The following Standards of Practice shall be applicable to the works:
− STULZ India Factory : Eurovent Certified
− ISO 9001: 2015 : Design, Manufacture and Supply of Precision Air-
Conditioning, Air Handling Units, Intelligent Server Rack and
Allied Products.
− ISO 14001: 2015 : Design and Manufacture of Precision Air-Conditioning, Air
Handling Units, Intelligent Server Rack and Allied Products.
− ISO 45001: 2018 : Design and Manufacture of Precision Air-Conditioning, Air
Handling Unit, Intelligent Server Rack and Allied Products.

6.0 PROCEDURE
6.1 General Description
The mechanical work for Installation DAHU to be carried out at CGK063.

6.2 Material

6.4 Manpower
The actual manpower of each type of installation may vary according to the site
condition and requirement. All workers shall wear appropriate PPE (Hard Hat,
Protective Boots, Goggles, High Visibility Vest and Protective Gloves) and safety
harness when working above 2 meter in height.

7.0 PROCEDURE UNLOADING & POSITIONING


7.1 Preparation Stage
− Ensure access permit to enter the site location has been approved by the
authorized party (note: STULZ coordination with GC).
− Ensure approved space area for unloading DAHU from truck container has
been cleared (note: STULZ coordination with GC).
− Ensure all DAHU position has been marking based on approved shop
drawing (note: Marking by STULZ).
− Ensure all tools, materials and man-powers for unloading & positioning has
been prepared well (note: STULZ coordination with GC).

7.2 Process Unloading & Positioning for DAHU

7.2.1 Unloading & Positioning DAHU


1. UNLOADING
− Position the container or truck to approved area (note: STULZ
coordination with GC).
− Refer to Delivery Order from forwarder, open the door of truck container
and check the palette or packaging of the unit inside (note: STULZ
coordination with GC).

− Pull & down the all the palettes and put it in approved space area and
split the area based on quantity of the DAHU delivered (note: STULZ
coordination with GC).

− Ensure all foundation bolt has been drilled based on approved drawing.

Note: Marking & providing anchor bolt by STULZ, Drilling & installation anchor
bolt by GC.
− Assembly Lower Module of DAHU.

• Lift the fan module lower and place to approved assembly area.
• Lift the coil module lower and put beside the fan module lower for
assembling.
• Lift the filter module lower and put beside the coil module lower
for assembling.
Note: Lifting by GC& STULZ coordination with GC for lifting & assembly.
− Lift the lower deck from assembly area to DAHU position on the
mechanical gallery. Do positioning and installed the anchor bolt.
− Assembly Upper Module of DAHU.

• Lift the fan module upper and place to approved assembly area.
• Lift the coil module upper and put beside the fan module upper
for assembling.
• Lift the filter module upper and put beside the coil module upper
for assembling.
Note: Lifting by GC & STULZ coordination with GC for lifting & assembly.
− Lift the upper deck from assembly area and join to lower deck which has
been anchored on the mechanical gallery.
• Joint the unit base (upper deck) to lower deck.
• Joint the Chiller Water pipe for upper & lower deck.
• Install internal wiring (power & control cables).

2. POSITIONING & INSTALLAION UNIT 2
− Ensure all foundation bolt has been drilled based on approved drawing.
Unit-2 base Installation should be carried out next to Unit-1 base.

− Lift the fan module lower from assembly to DAHU unit-2 position on the
mechanical gallery. Do positioning and installed the anchor bolt.

− Lift the coil module lower from assembly to DAHU unit-2 position on the
mechanical gallery. Do positioning and installed the anchor bolt.

− Lift the filter module lower from assembly to DAHU unit-2 position on the
mechanical gallery. Do positioning and installed the anchor bolt.

− Lift the other module and put on the respective module which has been
anchored on the mechanical gallery.
a. Fan module upper to fan module lower.
b. Coil module upper to coil module lower.
c. Filter module upper to filter module lower
• Joint the unit base (upper deck) to lower deck.
• Joint the Chiller Water pipe for upper & lower deck.
• Install internal wiring (power & control cables).

7.2.2 Mechanical & Electrical Installation
A. Mechanical
− Install the supply and return chilled water pipes for each DAHU (Note:
pipe & coupling joint supplied and installed by GC, Supervised by
STULZ).
− Install drain water pipes for each DAHU (Note: Pipes supplied and
installed by GC, Supervised by STULZ).
− Install air filters (temporary during construction) for each DAHU
(Note: Air Filter supplied and installed by Stulz).

7.2.3 Electrical & Control Installation


− Install internal wiring (power & control cables) for each DAHU (Note:
Cables supplied and installed by Stulz).
− Install Power Cables for each DAHU (Note: Power Cables supplied and
installed by GC, Supervised by STULZ)
− Install Sensors for each DAHU
• Supply and Return Air Temperature
• Water Detector
• Smoke Detector
(Note: Sensors supplied and installed by Stulz)
− Install Control Cable
• Communication control between DAHU
• Communication from DAHU to BMS
(Note: Communication control between DAHU supplied & installed by
STULZ & Communication control from DAHU to BMS by others,
Supervision by STULZ)
