    I. Objective: At the end of the lesson, the pupils will able to skip counting by 2’s through
    50.

    II. Learning Resources:


    References: M3NS-Ic-13.6, Teacher’s Guide Grade 3 p. 31-36
    Materials: projector, laptop, pictures, flashcards, manila paper, pentel pen, III.
    Procedures/Learning Experiences:
    A.Y IELD
    Day 1 Review:
    Give pupils exercises on writing numbers in words and in
    symbols.

    Write the following in symbols

    1) eight hundred forty-eight___________

    2) nine hundred ninety-nine___________

    3) one hundred four___________

    Write the following in words

    4) 34___________________

    5) 15___________________

    Drill: Prepare a number chart from 0-20

    Have pupils to write a number between 1 and 50 on their "show-


    me board."

    Call each one to show the number to the class to read. Do this as snappily as
    possible.

    Read the following problem aloud while the pupils read softly.

    Ana has 20 packs of candies to sell.

    Each pack has 2 candies. How many candies in all does she need to sell?

    Ask: How many candies in all does Ana has to sell? What did you
    do to find the answer?

    Lead the pupils to count the candies by 2’s. The whole class count with you
    as you lead them in doing the following: Post the skip counting by 2’s on the
    board.
