CLCL’s STUDENT GUIDLINES FOR ONSITE & ONLINE

ACTIVITIES

When you enroll to CLCL English Programs, you have two main types of activities: ONSITE
& ONLINE.
It is extremely important that you understand what it type is and consists of. So, please
carefully READ this document to find your way as your perform different learning
activities.

LET’S CONTINUE ON THE NEXT PAGE!

1
A- ABOUT ONSITE ACTIVITIES

“Onsite” refers to all the activities that you have to perform in the “physical” environment
of CLCL, that is to say, at the premises of CLCL. These activities include your attendance of
the different classes within the week, the tests you sit for and the interactions you may
have with instructors, administrators and classmates.

Here below is your timetable. You should be informed about your Entry Level by now. So,
look at the timetable as it relates to your level.

As you can see, there’s not much to say about your onsite activities. But that doesn’t mean
they will not require a lot from you. You will have to make sure that you attend all the
weekly classes and perform whatever activities the center deems mandatory for your
improvement.

B- ABOUT ONLINE ACTIVITIES

“Online” refers to all the activities that you have to perform entirely or partly on “virtual”
environment, that is to say, anywhere, (almost any time!) from an internet-connected
device (computer, phone, etc) generally out of or away from the premises of CLCL. These
activities are generally accessed via an online platform with an access code and/or a
login/username and/or a password, etc.
In the following pages, you are presented with the different platforms and the processes
to access and perform the related activities.

online platform.

3) ALWAYS LOGIN BEFORE STARTING WORK. Make sure you login before starting any of your activities to
avoid the unnecessary loss of your grade.

 A SPECIAL NOT FOR 123 DIALOGUE.COM

Explanation:
This activity is more than a mere “repetition” of the sentences. It actually is a sincere and perfect
“imitation” of the speakers' pronunciation and intonation.

Recommendations:
Step 1) *Learn with your eyes*:
Read the text as many times as possible, learn new words and get to understand the story.

Step 2) *Learn with your ears*. Now, listen to the dialogues without having to look the video again.
This step is about “memorization”. That should happen only through “listening” as the text is now
supposed to be mastered. So, no need to look at the writings any longer. By proceeding this way, you
will be able to *imitate*, at the best, the pronunciations of the characters.

Step 3) *Record yourself*. Step 1 & 2 being mastered, you can now record a video of yourself “with
no aid”. Once you’re done, send the video to the Program Administrator’s WhatsApp.
