ORIENTATION OF NEW HOUSEHOLD TO SFC

LAYUNIN:

1. Upang magkaroon ng isang lugar kung saan ang bawat isa ay palagay ang loob sa kanilang
kasama at nagtuturingan bilang kapatid.
2. Upang maipaliwanag ang dahilan ng pagkakaroon ng isang household meetings.
3. Upang maipaliwanag ang mga sumusunod:
a. Ang gawainn ng isang household head.
b. Ang mga gawain ng household members
c. Ang lugar at oras
d. Ang samahan ng miyembro sa kanyang head
4. Upang magkaroon ng pagsasamahang may pagtitiwala at bukas na kalooban sa bawat
miyembro.
5. Upang simulang ang isang buhay sa pamamagitang ng Espiritu Santo.

ANG MGA GAWAIN NG ISANG HOUSEHOLD LEADERS :

Sa pangkahalatan, ang gawain ng isang Household Head ay ipakilala ang pamamaraan ng pamumuhay ng
SFC at matulungan silang maisabuhay ang kultura ng CFC/SFC.

Inaasahan din silang gawin ang mga sumusunod:

1. Matulungan ang miyembro na magkaroon ng bagong pamumuhay.

2. Matulungan ang bawat miyembro na magtiwala sa Diyos at sa kanyang kapwa.
3. Gabayan ang bawat miyembro sa kanilang bagong pamumuhay.
4. Gabayan ang bawat miyembro na matutunan ang mga paniniwala at kaugalian ng CFC/SFC.

ANG NILALAMAN NG BAWAT MEETING:

MEETING no. 1:
1. Magkaroon ng panimulang panalangin. Magkaroon ng isang awit at panalangin na pamumunuan
ng Household Head.
2. Magsimula sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakilala sa bawat isa. Mauuna ang lider at susundan ng
bawat isa
a. Magsimula sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakilala sa bawat isa. Mauuna ang lider at ssundan
ng bawat isa .
Naglalaman ng pangalan, edad, tirahan, trabaho o eskwelahan.

3. Ipaliwanag ang mga sumusunod:

a. Ang kahalagahan ng Household.
b. Ang kahalagahan mo, bilang Household Head
c. Ang kahalagahan ng pagdalo sa Household
d. Ang nilalaman ng Household (Please refer to your Household Head Manual)
 4. Ipaliwanag ang pamamaraan ng pagpupuri (Full Christian Worship) sa bawat household na
magsisimula sa susunod na household meeting:
a. Ipaliwanag ang pagkakasunod-sunod.
b. Gayakin silang makiisa sa: pagkanta, pagpupuri, prayer in tongues, pagdarasal ng
pasasalamat, paghingi ng tawad at pagdarasal para sa kanilang pansariling kahilingan.
5. Magkaroon ng oras para sagutin ang mga tanong.
6. Pag-usapan ang susunod na household meeting:
a. Anong araw?
b. Anong oras? Pag-usapan ang oras ng pagdating at oras ng pagsimula ng household.
Ipagdiinan na ang “PUNCTUALITY” ay mahalaga at dapat sundin.
c. Saang lugar? Maaring gawing alphabetical sa apelyido ng mga miyembro.
7. Ipaliwanag ang “CONFIDENTIALITY” sa isang household.
8. Laging ipaalala na magbasa ng Bibliya.
9. Magkaroon ng oras para sa fellowship. Sabihin ang mga announcements. Hikayatin ang grupo
na dumalo sa mga Sector/Cluster/Chapter gatherings (CPA,GMT)
10. Piliting gawin ang lahat ng ito sa loob lamang ng 2 ½ oras.

MEETING no. 2
1. Full worship.
2. Kung mayroong late dumating – “ipagdiinan” ang PUNCTUALITY.
3. Obserbahan ang mga miyembro sa oras ng Worship, sila ba ay:
a. Nakikiisa ?
b. Ipaliwanag ang pagkakaroon ng bukas na puso para sa espiritu santo. (e.g. Prayer in
Tongues)
4. Pag-usapan ang dapat maging pananaw ng isang miyembro sa household. Basahin at ipaliwanag
ang “THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS” (See below)
5. Ipaliwanag ang paggamit at kahalagahan ng Bible Reading Guide.
a. Mayroon ba ang bawat isa ng Bible?
b. Himukin silang magkaroon ng Bible Reading time at ang paggamit ng guide.
6. Hikayatin silang magbasa ng isang “spiritual book” isa sa isang buwan.
7. Pag-usapan ang anumang “concerns” ng iyong mga members. Sabihin ang mga announcements.
Hikayatin ang grupo na dumalo sa mga Sector/Cluster/Chapter gatherings (CPA,GMT)
8. Magkaroon ng oras para sa fellowship.

MEETING no. 3
1. Full worship.
2. Bago mag-sharing, hikayatin silang maging bukas sa bawat isa. Ipaliwanag ang prinsipyo ng
CONFIDENTIALITY.
3. Magkaroon ng oras ng sharing: TOPIC
a. Paano ipinakilala/nakilala ang SFC at ano ang naging dahilan nila upang sumali dito.
b. Anu-ano ang mga pagbabagong iyong nararanasan sa inyong mga buhay – tahanan,
tarabaho at ang inyong relasyon sa inyong kapwa.
4. Pag-usapan ang anumang “concerns” ng iyong mga miyembro ukol sa SFC o sa inyong grupo.
Sabihin ang mga announcements. Hikayatin ang grupo na dumalo sa mga Chapter gatherings

5. Magkaroon ng oras para sa fellowship.

1. Full worship, discussion/sharing, at fellowship.

2. Topic: Ibahagi ang iyong Personal Prayer time at Bible reading. Ano na ang pagkaka-iba noong
hindi ka pa maging miyembro ng SFC sa ngayon? May nabago na ba?

3. Pag-usapan ang anumang “concerns” ng iyong mga miyembro ukol sa SFC o sa inyong grupo. At
sabihin ang mga announcements. Hikayatin ang grupo na dumalo sa mga Chapter gatherings
(CPA,GMT)

MEETING no. 5

1. Full worship, discussion/sharing, at fellowship.

2. Topic: Ibahagi ang tungkol sa iyong sarili – interests, hobbies, work, schedule of activities, etc.
(Getting to know activity: Nagbanggit ng tatlong bagay na totoo tungkol sa’yo at isang bagay
hindi totoo tungkol sa’yo na hindi pa alam ng iyong ka-grupo sa Household )

3. Pag-usapan ang anumang “concerns” ng iyong mga miyembro. At sabihin ang mga
announcements. Hikayatin ang grupo na dumalo sa mga Chapter gatherings (CPA,GMT)

MEETING no. 6

1. Full worship, discussion/sharing, at fellowship.

2. Topic: Ibahagi ang tungkol sa iyong Pamilya – relasyon sa iyong pamilya, oras ng pagdarasal,
libangan kasama sila, etc.
Nais mo bang mapabilang ang iyong pamilya sa ating community? Paano mo sila hihikayatin?

3. Pag-usapan ang anumang “concerns” ng iyong mga miyembro. At sabihin ang mga

a. Do they understand what CFC and SFC stand for?

THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS

A. Attitudes of Household Members

In order to reap the full benefits to be offered by participation in a household group, its
members have to foster some basic attitudes, such as:

1. Openness – One has to be open to what the Lord wants to give through the household
group. One should realize that this is part of God's work and in conformity with His plan
for each person, and should therefore be expectant and desirous of what is in store for
him/her. Concretely, one should share about his/her personal life and relationship with
the Lord in a spirit of openness.

2. Confidentiality – Household members are encouraged to share of their personal lives,

including their concerns and difficulties, in the meetings. And this can be done only in
an atmosphere of confidentiality. Whatever is shared in the meetings should not be
shared outside with anyone else.

Note: The Household Heads may share concerns to their service head or Unit Head, who are
extensions of their service and care for household members. This is not a breach of
confidentiality.
The prohibition on sharing with outsiders excludes the positive factors in one's life. These in
effect can be shared by the members outside the household meeting whenever there is an
appropriate opportunity so that others can also be built up and encouraged.

3. Faithfulness – One has to make the twice a month household meeting apriority in
his/her life and be regular in attendance. Only with continuity and one's personal
commitment can the purpose of household groups be achieved.

4. Participation – Each member has to come to the meetings prepared both spiritually and
practically, and have the attitude of wanting to make a contribution to the life of the
meeting. Think not only of what you can get out of the meeting but of what you can
impart to the brothers and sisters. This is done by active participation in worship, in
sharing and discussion, and in fellowship. It is important that each member supports
the good order of the weekly meeting and relates to everyone in the group with honor
and respect, especially to the household head.

5. Love – The idea, after all, is to foster active concern and commitment to one another.
One has to look on the other members of the group as not just so many new friends,
but as brothers and sisters in the Lord, among whom mutual love is the common
denominator.
THE CFC-SINGLES FOR CHRIST LOGO

The Concentric Circles

These stand for two wedding rings, one on top of the other. They depict Christian marriage, where two
have become one. They stand for the unity between the husband and wife, a unity manifesting itself in
mutual love and service.

The rings also point to our family life ministry. The family is to be the focus as well as the foundation of
our work.

The Cross
This stands for the cross of Christ. The central position of the cross states that Christ is at the center of
our lives and of our work.

The cross is also an empty cross. It shows that Christ is risen. By His death and resurrection, Christ
conquered sin and death and won for us our salvation.

Finally, the cross stands for the radical Christian life we are called to. It is a life where we are to take up
the cross of Christ (Mt 16:24). We have already died with Christ, and the life we live now is not our own
but a life we lived for God (Gal 2:20).

The Dove
The dove represents the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit Who is our guide, our counsellor, our advocate.
He is the Spirit of truth. He is the source of power and strength for the Christian life.

The dove also indicates the charismatic dimension of our spirituality. We are to pursue our work of
renewal with the full use of charismatic gifts at our disposal (1 Cor 12:4-11).

The Concentric Circles and the Cross

The circles also stand for the globe or the world. Christ is at the center. He is the King of kings and Lord
of lords. Our work is to participate in the fulfillment of God's plan: to bring all things in the heavens and
on earth into one under Christ's headship (Eph 1:10).

Also depicted is the establishment of the CFC worldwide family, the one global community under the
lordship of Christ.

The circles also suggest the ever widening network of renewed families in Christ. The light and life of
Christ radiates outwards and touches the lives of more and more people. CFC is an evangelistic
movement, intending to bring Christ to all people and to all places.

Taken all together, the meaning of CFC-SFC logo is this...

CFC-SFC is a work of Christ which raises up Christian couples and establishes Christian families
committed to the work of evangelization and winning the world for Christ through the power of the Holy
Spirit.
