salt water. Calculate her following characteristics:
a) - Volume of reserve buoyancy
b) - KM
c) - TPC
d) - Draft in fresh water
e) - FWA (15M)
.

Q.2) – A vessel of 14500 t displacement has initial KG = 6.10 m arrives in port. She then discharges
and loads following commodities:
Load: 1200 tonnes of cargo at KG = 5.0 m Discharge: 850 tonnes of cargo at KG = 5.0 m
400 tonnes of cargo at KG = 6.0 m 600 tonnes of cargo at KG = 5.5 m
750 tonnes of bunker at KG = 2.4 m 550 tonnes of cargo at KG = 4.0 m
150 tonnes of FW at KG = 10.0 m
