B. ASSESSMENT

Instruction: Answer the following questions comprehensively

1. The activity worksheet in the following page aims to help you further appreciate your
physical self. List and briefly discuss five (5) things that make you beautiful. Answer in a
numbered list format.

1. The first that makes me beautiful is wearing clothes depending on my mood, I

wear boy’s style, swag, or a girly type of clothes, by wearing something
comfortable makes me feel like I’m beautiful.
2. Secondly, by being Confident, I don’t wear any make ups and I know that I am
chubby, but I accepted my flaws and that makes me happy and contented.
Like what I have said in number 1, by wearing something depending in my
mood makes me feel I’m beautiful even my fats are seen by others but still, I
can flex it. I am confidently beautiful.
3. The next is, the things that makes me beautiful is by using some effects in my
pictures, editing that results what I have expected, like it is more look more
beautiful to me. I know that the original picture is finer and more natural. But in
my perception is, at least in the pictures it shows my beauty that I cannot be
seen in reality, I keep it on private it is more likely a goal that I want to
achieve, but having a surgery is not my thing.
4. Then, by being true to myself, it makes me more beautiful when I’m acting
and shows the real me, I am a friendly and cheerful person, and it gives me a
lot of time to control of it because sometimes it irritates others, so I manage
and mindful what person that I’m with. I’m an introvert person, I only have few
real friends also but they are the best.
5. The last but not the least that makes me beautiful is, being a good person, I
know I have bad sides, but I could say that I am a good person, a good
daughter and a sister, I’m still fighting and trying to win being stick with a good
personality. I think it is the thing that make us more beautiful inside and
outside, we are beautiful to eyes of the people that always around to us.

on the message of the song and discuss some challenges encountered in preserving
Filipino identity and beauty (e.g. influence of Korean pop culture) and the ways to
uphold it.

The band announced on Facebook that the picturesque music video for
'Kayumanggi' was "created with the beautiful people in the coastal settlements in La
Union." Ben&Ben sing on the significance of cherishing one's own skin color, cultural
history, and more as they take center stage in the video, swimming, surfing, weaving,
and more.
 On the lyrics “Kung kayumanggi ang iyong balat, Ipagmalaki sa'n man mapadpad,
Pagkapanganak hanggang sa paghimlay, Yakapin ang kulay” it’s realize me something
in this line, we the Filipinos are not contented of the color that we have, there are fewer
that are confident and love their color, but mostly the Filipino People are still wants to
have a white color just like the Pop culture, as I can see there are a lot of people
influenced by the pop culture to have a white and beautiful color, to achieve those, it
needs care and cost for it. Especially in the younger generation, which we can call the
millennials, it is normal for them to use these products, and there are in time where the
Pop culture is famous around the world, by idolizing their influenced that make them use
the products. And other feels that they are beautiful and looks differently if they
enhanced. Back in the song, we need to be proud and embrace the color that we had.

The music share that, “we are beautiful with our natural skin” and I agree with
that. It okay to enhance our self or change because it is about desires that we are
talking, but even when we change our appearance we are still identify who we are, and
we must proud where we are belong.
