JOINT RESOLUTION NO.

RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF INCREASING CATERING PRICES FOR AGRARIAN

REFORM BENEFICIARY ORGANIZATIONS (ARBOs) IN CAMIGUIN

WHEREAS, the Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) in the province of

Camiguin play a vital role in promoting agricultural development and rural empowerment;

WHEREAS, ARBOs in Camiguin have been actively engaged in various agricultural activities
and have contributed significantly to the local economy;

WHEREAS, catering services provided by ARBOs have been instrumental in supporting various
events and gatherings, thus creating additional income opportunities for ARBO members;

WHEREAS, the current catering prices of Php 300.00 per event have been in effect for a
considerable period, and due to the rising cost of living, the ARBOs find it challenging to sustain
their operations and meet their financial obligations;

WHEREAS, an increase in catering prices would enable ARBOs to cover their production costs
adequately, including the cost of ingredients, labor, and other related expenses;

WHEREAS, the ARBOs are seeking fair compensation for their services rendered, reflecting the
value they provide and the quality of their products;

WHEREAS, after careful consideration and consultation among the ARBOs in Camiguin, it has
been collectively agreed that an adjustment in catering prices is necessary to ensure the
sustainability of ARBO operations and maintain the quality of services provided;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations

(ARBOs) in Camiguin, that:

Section 1: The ARBOs in Camiguin express their unanimous support for an increase in catering
prices from Php 300.00 to Php 500.00 per event, effective August 1, 2023.

Section 2: The increased catering prices will enable ARBOs to cover their costs adequately,
sustain their operations, and invest in improving the quality of their products and services.

Section 3: The ARBOs will communicate the revised pricing structure to their clients and
stakeholders to ensure transparency and understanding regarding the need for the adjustment.

Section 4: The ARBOs will continue to uphold high standards of service, quality, and
professionalism, thereby providing value for money to their clients.

Section 5: The ARBOs will regularly review the pricing structure in light of market conditions,
cost fluctuations, and feedback from clients to ensure that the prices remain fair and
competitive.

Section 6: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
