While teachers can influence students' intellectual and social development in school, parents have an even greater impact. Teachers can help develop skills like teamwork and problem solving through classroom activities. However, parents directly influence children's diets and upbringing, which affects their intelligence and personality. A child's social skills and future success are largely dependent on the environment and parenting style they receive at home from their parents. Both teachers and parents should work together to support children's overall growth and development.

It is argued that at school age, teachers have more impacts
on student’s knowledge and interpersonal growth than their
parents do. While some believe that the mentioned issue is true, I only partly disagree with this view because of the following reasons. Admittedly, teachers can exert influence on the growth of their pupils in terms of intelligence and social skills. Actually, students - especially young children - are extremely perceptive to the behaviors of others around them. Therefore, it is possible for instructors to have a significant impact on children' development when they are assigned to a school where they spend the most of their time with the kids. For instance, students can develop their interpersonal skills, such as teamwork and communication, as well as their various types of intelligence, such as problem solving or logical thinking, by participating in group work projects or creative activities that are planned by their teacher. Apart from the huge influence on children of teachers expressed above, I would argue that the effect of parents on their children is much more significant than that of teachers. Firstly, the children’s intellectual development can be affected by the way their mother or father chooses what to be included in their diet. Children are more likely to become smarter adults if they are fed with foods that are beneficial for their minds, like walnuts or salmon. Besides, kids’ social skills depend on their parents’ personalities. For instance, it is likely that a child reared in a talkative and outgoing family will become sociable individuals and better perform interpersonal skills in the future. In conclusion, despite undeniable impacts of teachers, what can define how intelligent and how good at social skills a child can be is his or her parents. However, it is essential for both parties to join hands for the sake of the comprehensive growth of children.
