Nail grooming is a simple yet important self-care routine. Not only do short,
well-manicured nails look great, they are also less likely to harbour dirt and
bacteria, which can lead to an infection.

Routine nail care is vital to your overall health and appearance. Nail health
can indicate general wellness, while a weak or brittle nail can cause pain and
put you at risk for infection and injury. Nails help you look good, feel
confident, and give your hands and feet a touch of sophistication.
Cite some real life instances and experiences wherein you have to clean
and wash your nails.
Evaluation
Directions: In not less than 5 sentences, imagine that you are a health care
provider, responsible for assisting patients with nail problems, One day, you
are about to help a patient with a wound dressing change, you noticed that
your own nails are not well-maintained, with dirt and chipped nail polish,
how are you going to handle this situation? Why is it crucial to maintain
proper nail hygiene in a health care environment?
