In the end of the class, pupils will be able to:
LEARNING OBJECTIVES Solve daily life problems involving addition and subtraction of money using various
strategies
Pupils can:-
SUCCESS CRITERIA Solve daily life problems involving addition and subtraction of money using various
strategies correctly
Pre-lesson:-
1. Pupils recall previous lesson on problem solving steps

2. Teacher guides the pupils to add value of coins through simulation using
example money and do calculation using abacus
3. Pupils do sell and buy activity in the class using toy money and things in the class
(HOTS)
4. Pupils use various problem solving strategies such as addition in standard
written form, number line and abacus
