INTRODUCTION
1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Teacher shows the flight schedule situation card in front and asks some
questions.
ACTIVITY
3.Pupils are talk about their experience about tours, camping or other activities
involving days and hours.
4.Pupils carry out simulation activities using calendars, timelines and diagrams to
calculate the duration in days.
ACTIVITIES 5.Pupils discuss with teacher how to determine the leap year by dividing the year
by 4 without remainder.
6.Pupils are guide to find the period of the day in various ways.
7.Refer to page 123 – 126, pupils are guide to calculate the duration of the day and
hour, month and day, year, month and day.
8.In pairs, pupils discuss the questions in Brain Teaser on page 125.
9.In groups, pupils discuss the questions on Try This in page 126.
10. Pupils do presentation at Gallery Walk.
