In the end of the class, pupils will be able to:
LEARNING OBJECTIVES Solve problems involving daily life situations related to length, mass and volume of
liquid
Pupils can:-
SUCCESS CRITERIA Solve problems involving daily life situations related to length, mass and volume of
liquid using various strategies correctly
Pre-lesson:- Group B
1. Pupils recall previous lesson on problem solving strategies
Activities:-
2. Teacher guides the pupils to use simulation method or build a model to solve
problem
3. Teacher gives various questions involving volume of liquids, length and mass to
enhance the understanding
4. Teacher shows how to solve problem using several suitable methods
5. Pupils use the vocabulary of “equal to”, “more than”, “less than”, “lighter than”
and “less” to answer the questions
6. Teacher divides the pupils into several groups. Pupils get question cards with
PDPC ACTIVTIES different pictures. Pupils discuss to solve the problems using correct vocabulary
(21st CA)
7. Pupils answer the given questions in the exercise book (CBA)
8. Pupils answer questions in the activity book
