5.0 AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

All ducting, irrespective of the profile shall be of factory fabricated completely finished and
boxed ducts only including duct flanges.The GSS sheet shall be of Class VIII, with zinc
coating of 120 gm / Sqm surface area. TDF type flanges with neoprene rubber gaskets of
thickness to match the dimensions of the ducts shall be used for connecting two ducts. The
cost of the duct shall include the threaded rod supports, anchor fastners, hot dipped
galvanized bolts and nuts etc.,
The Duct to be manufactured and assembled as per SMACNA standard and should be able
to withstand 750 Pa pressure.

Making openings for all type of duct entries in civil / gypsum / any type of partition shall be
under scope of Civil Contractors and exclusive of cost.

canvas connections as per the technical specifications .Longitidunal joint shall be sealed
with inbuilt sealent during locking process.

Supply, installation and Testing of factory fabricated galvanized sheet metal Flat Oval
Spiral ducts (Elliptical) in GF exposed ceiling with single skin construction insulated
with 9mm thick closed cell elastomeric insulation -Class "O" type, material density 40 to 55
kg/m³ with wire Rope Hangers & Supports brackets, anchor fasterners etc, Installation of

the ducting should be high quality. GI Sheets shall be as per IS 277 with zinc coating of 120
gsm and as per specifications. All ducts are painted with 1 coat of primer and 2 coat of
approved shade should be powder coated,colour as approved by architects/consultants
client.Major axis of the ducts should be considered inline with tech specs

Note: Insulation cost is inclusive. 24G is not allowed to use, minimum sheet thickness
should be of 22G & all bends / tapoff / transition pieces, other neccessary connection shall
be 1G higher than the duct.

Supply, installation and Testing of factory fabricated galvanized sheet metal Insulated
Round ducts in GF exposed ceiling with powder coated including elbows, wire Rope
Hangers & Supports complete with end fixing in accordance with the approved shop
drawings and as required by the specifications as per IS Standards. Installation of the
ducting should be high quality. GI Sheets shall be as per IS 277 with zinc coating of 120 gsm

and as per specifications. 9mm thick nitrile rubber of class 'O" and self adhesive shall be
insulated inside the ducts from factory. All ducts should be powder coated and colour as
approved by architects/consultants/client.
Duct Leak testing of complete system using leak testing tool. Rate includes Factory
fabricated ducts.
