I. OBJECTIVES
1. To calculate the equivalent resistance of a series –parallel circuit using the
measured current and voltage.
2. To calculate the equivalent resistance of a delta-wye network using the measured
current and voltage.
3. To prove that the experimental values and computed values are nearly equal.

IV. PROCEDURE
Series Parallel Circuit
1. Using the Breadboard, Connect The following resistors and voltage source Shown
in Fig. 1
2. Using the multimeter, measure total current, Individual current and voltage for
each resistor in each circuit.
3. Disconnect the DC Supply and using the multimeter, complete the table in the
Data and result section.
Delta-Wye Circuit
1. Using the Breadboard, Connect the following resistors and voltage source Shown
in Fig. 2
2. Using the multimeter, measure total current, Individual current and voltage for
each resistor in each circuit.
3. Disconnect the DC Supply and using the multimeter, complete the table in the
Data and result section
