3. Take the responsibility to bypass after making sure it will not endanger
human life and will not affect the integrity of the cranes
4. Ask the crane Operator to off the drive if it is not already done.
5. Disable the crane By pressing an e-stop near the working area.
6. Do the bypass ( Software and/or Hardware)
7. Remove the E-stop
3. Test of the crane 8. Reset all faults
9. Put on the drive From PLC room(STS)/E-room (RTG)
10. If everything went ok, off the drive and ask Operator to switch on the drive
11.Ask the Operator to Press his E-stop
12. Make sure The drive goes Off when the Operator presses his e-stop, this is
a MUST
13. Ask the Operator to put on back the drive
14. After 1-2 min, ask the Operator for the crane test functions in slowspeed
15. If ok, Ask the operator for a full speed functions test
16. If all ok, Inform LCT Operations and LCT engineers about the crane
availability
17. Record the Bypasses in the bypass file and send it at the end of the shift
18. Ensure that Shift leader on Duty and Crane Supervisor of the next shift are
aware of the bypasses
19. Fill in the crane request file with all necessary information to have
the cranes when available for the CMs and communicate it to the
Shift Leader & The Planning Engineer

NB:
The functions below and not limited to, should never be bypassed.
-Overtravel Switches
-The 3 Lines of an E-stop on STS or the 2 lines of an E-stop on RTG
-Slowdown Function
-Snag Load
