: ‫أهداف المقرر‬-9

This is a language course on English language, focusing on development of the student experience
in English language as related to their engineering study. The course will introduce the basics of
how to deal with the scientific facts and trying to describing these facts in a correct and clear
English language. This includes: the use of the verbs in various tenses, numerals and simple
equations reading, the use singular and plural, adverbs, adjectives and instruments, comparatives
and superlatives and comparing them, reporting on progress and expressing reason and describing
engineering aspects such as, use of metals, measurements, standard multipliers, prefixes and
symbols and trigonometric functions, electrical power systems, diesel engines, air- conditioning
systems, telecommunications.

A1- Knowing the course objectives.
A2- Evaluating the level of the students in the English language and decide the most suitable
teaching method.
A3- Start with the students from the basics and progress until reaching the advanced stages in the
course.
A4- Developing the experience of the students to write complete and correct passages in their
engineering topics.

B1- Ability to understand analyze and rewrite the engineering literature related to the students

‫•الفعاليات والنشاطات المختلفة للطلبة التي من خاللها يتم االستدالل على مدى الفهم والحرص واالنضباط الذي يتحلى به الطلبة‬
‫•التقييم من خالل اشراك الطلبة في التحدث امام زمالئهم والتي يتم خاللها تقييم أدراك الطالب لمسؤوليته االخالقية والعلمية‪.‬‬
