Listening And Speaking Test: Instructions for teacher Marks (10)

 Teacher will make the students sit in the class.


 Teacher will ask the students to listen to the paragraph attentively.
 Teacher will read the paragraph two times.
 Teacher will call students one by one and ask the two questions from each student.
 Teacher will select any two questions for each student.
 Teacher will shuffle questions for each student. Award 2 marks for each correct answer.
 In case the question statement is asked twice, deduct 0.50 marks from obtained marks of that
question.
 Add each question obtained marks in the column and finally make total in obtained marks
column.
Instructions for the Students:
 Students will listen the question carefully.
 Students will answer in oral form.

Listening Passage

Sharks are a group of fish. They look like marine mammal but they are a type of fish. There
are some similarities as well as differences between sharks and bony fish. The skeletons of
sharks are made of cartilage instead of bones. Sharks have gills which help them to breathe.
Water moves over the gills so that sharks get oxygen. There are almost 400 different kinds of
sharks. Sharks average life span is 20-30 years. Their colour, size and different qualities make
them unique.
