Dear SDCA Students,

St. Dominic College of Asia celebrates its 20th Founding Anniversary with
the theme, ‘Education Revolutionized’. The opening ceremony will be held on
November 25 at the Bacoor STRIKE Coliseum and will continue on November 27
and 28 at the SDCA campus.

SDCA has prepared several activities, seminars and booths which will
surely create a wonderful, fun-filled and meaningful celebration of SDCA’s two
decades of quality education which we have been given the honor to enjoy
and be truly proud of. And with gratitude to your full engagement in the event,
the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs declares November 29 as
an Academic holiday, and December 1 and 2 as Self-Directed Learning Day. All
the same, there will be no classes on November 30, as we join the nation in
honoring Andres Bonifacio’s heroism and in lieu of November 27.

Furthermore, to ensure continuity of teaching-learning during the 4-day

break, faculty members will upload activities that you can work with during
these days. DSAS is requesting for a 300-word reflection paper essay about the
entire celebration, with this question as prompt: “How can I help SDCA in the
future?” Please submit through the link below.

Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to the entire SDCA

community for being a responsible Dominicans and for all your contributions to
the 20th Founding Anniversary.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mary Nellie T. Roa
