2.
Matter undergoes face change. This change alters the physical appearance of
substances. Some processes that cause changes are evaporation, condensation, freezing,
melting, sublimation and deposition. When liquid, like water changes to form gas like steam,
the process involved is called evaporation. The reverse of it, called condensation, happens
when gas changes to liquid. On the other hand, the process is called melting, when solid
changes the liquid and when this liquid changes back to solid, the process is known as freezing.
The process of sublimation happens when solid changes directly to gas and deposition, when
gas changes directly to solid.

ABSTRACTION
Matter undergoes face change. These changes are either evaporation, condensation,
freezing, melting, sublimation, or deposition. Evaporation occurs when liquid changes to gas.
Condensation occurs when gas changes to liquid. Freezing occurs when liquids become solids.
Melting occurs when solid changes to liquid. Sublimation occurs when solid changes to gas
without passing the liquid state and deposition occurs when gas changes to solid.

APPLICATION
- sweat from your body evaporating
- condensation of the cold water from the refrigerator
- freezing ice in the freezer
- condensation of the water from the plants in the morning
