1. What is history?
-History is the study of things that happened in the past. It helps us learn about how people
used to live, what they did, and why things turned out the way they did. We look at old records,
like writings and objects, to figure this out. History helps us understand how the world has
changed over time, and it can give us ideas for the future by looking at what worked and what
didn't in the past.

2. What is the importance of studying history?

-The importance of studying history lies within what we can learn from the events of the past so
that in the future when we are faced with the same or similar challenges we would know which
methods will and will not work.Learning history will allow us to avoid repeating the same
mistakes we have made along with finding alternative or better solutions to problems we have
faced before.

3. Define Primary and secondary sources of History

-Primary sources are original, firsthand records or artifacts created during the time period being
studied. These sources provide direct evidence of past events, people, or conditions. Examples
