REFLECTIVE LEARNING REPORT: Webinar 3 Building a career in tourism and

Hospitality industry

Description: Learning Acquired

Emotional Reflection: What were you thinking and feeling?

Ms. JC Wong and Mr. Maximo Amor discussed the professionalism and upskilling in
our industry and it was very interesting specialy in hospitality and tourism industry it
was fun and interesting because they discussed a lot on how to stand out among
the rest

Evaluation:State good experiences and bad experiences or challenges encountered

My connection was the only issue I had aside from that, the event went down good
without a problem

Analysis: What sense can you make of the learning situation and platform, and the
learning content or program?

The webinar is educational, and they produce events or content that are good
enough to help people realize how reality-based work should be done. Additionally,
the event they organize is participatory, and I believe that many who attended
enjoyed the programs and topics, particularly the specialists who offered their
experiences.

Conclusion: What else could you have done?

I discovered that upskilling entails learning a talent that will increase your
marketability and attractiveness to businesses looking for trendy skills, particularly in
the hospitality and tourism sector.

Action Plan: Recommendations to improve learning and the program

The webinar itself, in particular the programs, are sufficient because they provide
students with information about how to advance their skills and differentiate
themselves from competitors in a competitive industry and standing out from others
professionalism.
