In grade 3, the author witnessed some classmates bullying another student. Without hesitation, the author intervened to help their classmate. Though smaller than the bullies, the author was not afraid to stand up for the victim and scare the bullies away. The author told the bullies not to do it again or they would be reported. As a result of this brave act, the author gained many friends. The valuable lesson learned was that one does not need to be rich or big to help others - just brave enough to stand up for those in need. Like Jose Rizal, one can be a hero through peaceful yet powerful actions. Everyone can be a hero in their own way.

valuable lessons in life? Briefly describe these experiences and write down the lessons you learned from these by completing the table below.
The most memorable positive childhood experience that taught
me values and valuable lessons in life is when I was in grade 3. I am a transferee here in Iloilo, the scene was that I saw some of my schoolmates bullying my classmate, without any hesitation I interfere and help my classmate. I wasn’t thinking about my schoolmate’s size I just don’t want to see anyone get bullied. I defended my classmate and scare off the bullies, I told them not to do it again or else I will report them to the principal. On that day I feel so brave and fearless, because of the little thing that I did, I got a lot of friends.
The values or valuable lesson that I learned that day is that, we
don’t have to be rich or big just to help others, we just have to be brave to stand for other who is in need. Like Jose Rizal, he didn’t use any force, but instead he became a hero through writing. He fought for freedom in a peaceful but powerful way. The only lesson that I can share is that you have to be brave, kind, compassionate and helpful to be a hero. Everyone can be a hero in their own little ways.
