凯西最大的遗产是他的解读。自 1901 年 3 月 31 日，为了解决自己声带不能发声的问题，给出了第

一个解读开始。到 1944 年 9 月 17 日的最后一个解读为止。整理出的有记录的解读共有 14246 个。
对个人的解读，主要有两种：生理的和生命的。生理解读有 8976 个，生命解读有 2500 个。生理的
是针对身体的健康状况和治疗方法的。生命解读，是在 1923 年后开始的。此外，还有关于商业的 799
个，解梦的 677 个，关于精神和心灵的 401 个，住家及婚姻的 24 个。879 个是混合的。没有内容的
110 个，包括寻宝，给国家领导人作的解读。1901 年到 1923 年，就是黛维斯小姐接手之前的 523
个。此外，有一些特殊系列。比如 262 系列，是指导对解读现象有兴趣的学习小组而给出的解读，这
130 个解读后来被编成了《寻找上帝》一书，成为指导灵命发展的固定材料。

爱德加•凯西的解读确实在诠释和理解上存在着一些困难。首先，它们在某种程度上是难于阅读的，
主要是由于它们的语法和古体的语言或者圣经的措辞和风格。它们是口语表达的书面记录，因此间或
不会传达要表达的全部意图；甚至标点符号也能够意义重大地改变用声音作陈述的意思或者意图。另
外，大多数的解读是作给特定的人，这些人关于被讨论的主题带有个人的观点和偏见，因此答复对于
每一个寻求者都是独一无二的。最后，段落是如此复杂的，因为一些凯西的解读覆盖了如此多的要点
和问题，因此要确定他正在指的是哪一个问题可能会是困难的。
