Students will create a community service project by sewing zipper pouches that will be donated to the Haven
House.

Students will be able to operate the sewing machine properly.
Students will be able to construct straight seams.
Students will be able to demonstrate how to trim, grade, and clip seams.
Students will demonstrate iron safety and sewing machine safety.

As a class, we’ll watch the zipper pouch tutorial video.
Work time for zipper pouches and students can rewatch the zipper pouch video on google classroom.
Students will write their name on the board if they have a question.
