참고 부정대명사는 정해지지 않은 막연한 대상을 가리키는 대명사로, one, some, any, other 등이 있다.
주의 보통 긍정문과 긍정의 응답이 예상되는 의문문에서는 some-을 쓰고, 의문문이나 부정문, 조건절에서는 any-를 쓴다.

① 의문사가 있는 간접의문문은 「의문사 + 주어 + 동사」의 어순으로 쓴다.
•I don’t know. + Where is she from? (나는 모른다. 그녀는 어디 출신이니?)
→ I don’t know where she is from. (나는 그녀가 어디 출신인지 모른다.)
② 의문사가 how long, what time 등과 같이 구로 오는 경우 하나의 의문사로 취급한다.
•I want to know. + How much is it? (나는 알고 싶다. 그것은 얼마니?)
→ I want to know how much it is. (나는 그것이 얼마인지 알고 싶다.)
③ 의문사가 주어일 경우 간접의문문은 직접의문문의 어순과 같이 「의문사(주어) + 동사」로 쓴다.
•Tell me. + Who made it? (내게 말해 줘. 누가 그것을 만들었니?)
→ Tell me who made it. (누가 그것을 만들었는지 내게 말해 줘.)
주의 간접의문문이 think, believe, suppose 등과 같은 동사의 목적어로 쓰일 경우 간접의문문의 의문사는 문장 맨 앞으로 이동한다.
•Do you think? + What should I do? (너는 생각하니? 내가 무엇을 해야 할까?)
→ What do you think I should do? (너는 내가 무엇을 해야 한다고 생각하니?)
