Uhmmm As you know about life today, we see a lot of news through social networking
sites, newspapers, ... The news helps us to know about how the world or life is going.
Sometimes breaking news needs to be noticed and monitored to grasp the situation
and come up with solutions
To delve into our topic today, I would like to introduce 3 guests, namely Ms Lan , Ms
Sara and Ms Peter. Welcome to today's talk show. It's nice to meet everyone .Hope we
will have a fun talk and useful knowledge
Let’s get started

PART 2: TOPIC: TRANSPORT - TRÀ MY

This conversation includes 2 members: Tra My and Thu Ha. Tra My acts as Journalist, Thu
Ha acts as MC. The topic discusses “ hot traffic issues in Vietnam recently”.
Thu Ha: And now we're going to our first guest, Ms. Lan
Trà My: (Come in and introduce) Hello everyone . I am Lan -a Journalist from 24h Traffic
Newspaper . And I am very happy and honored to be invited to attend today’s talk show.
(Interact with MC) Hi Ms.Azu ,nice to meet you !

Thu Hà: (Shark hand) Nice to meet you, Lan. Thank you for accepting our invitation to
participate in our program. Welcome to our show!

Trà My: Thanks!

THU HA : Back to the topic of What's Hot, you can tell people what one of the hottest issues
of the last time was?

Tra My : That is transport, more specifically traffic issues in Vietnam recently

Thu Hà: (MC introduces the topic) oh, traffic issues are always a hot topic that people are keen
on in our life.

Tra My: That’s right.

Thu Hà: ( Mc asked about the current traffic problem in the country) With so many means of
transport available today , are there any problems with the traffic system in our country today?
Tra My:(Support presentation) As we know it, traffic is a major problem in Vietnam, especially
in the two largest cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The situation is so bad that it has become
a part of daily life for many people. According to a study by the Ministry of Transport, the
average speed of vehicles in Hanoi during rush hour is only 5-7 km/h. In Ho Chi Minh City, the
situation is not much better, with traffic jams occurring frequently during peak hours.

Thu Ha: And as I know , there have been many accidents happening across the country ?

Tra My: That’s right. In the first 9 months of this year, there were 8.335 traffic accidents
nationwide. More specifically, it killed 4.765 people and injured 5.802 people.

Thu Ha: It’s terrible . Those are extremely detailed and specific numbers . And what are the
main causes of traffic issues in Vietnam?

Tra My: There are several reasons for this problem. Firstly, the number of motorbikes and cars
on the road has increased significantly in recent years, but the infrastructure has not kept pace
with this growth. Secondly, there is a lack of public transportation options, which means that
many people have to rely on private vehicles to get around.

Thu Ha : (supporting) In my opinion, there is a lack of awareness among drivers about traffic
laws and safety, which leads to reckless driving and accidents.

Tra My: Yeahhh, that’s right.

Thu Ha: (Mc asked about solutions and the future of the transportation system) How would
people improve the transport system in your country?

Tra My: Ummm….. I think …. Firstly, the government needs to invest more in public
transportation, such as buses and trains, to provide people with alternative options to private
vehicles. Secondly, it is necessary to enact traffic safety laws and finally, more education
awareness campaigns to promote safe driving practices.

Thu Ha: This is really useful. Thanks for your coming here and giving many benefits
information for this show, Ms.Lan!

Tra My: Thanks Ms. Azu and everyone for your listening.

PART 3: TOPIC: ENVIRONMENT - PHƯƠNG LINH

Thu Hà: Now, we have a conversation that talks about the topic “Environment” with
Environment expert- Ms. Peter. Welcome to our Chanel, how are you today?
Ms. Peter: I’m doing well. I was really excited when I was invited here.
Thu Hà: Oh, we’re the same. I was so happy when I met you. So, Ms. Peter, in your opinion,
what environmental issues are becoming popular today?
Ms. Peter: To the best of my knowledge, the problem of noise pollution is becoming
widespread. In recent years, noise pollution has become a hot topic as more and more people in
the capital and big cities are affected by having to endure too loud a sound threshold.
Thu Hà: wow, so, what’s the main reason that makes the noise pollution? Is it caused by
humans?
Ms. Peter: The main reason is due to the frequent movement of vehicles on the road and the
increase in traffic. Increased noise causes noise from engines, horns, brakes,...It is not entirely
caused by humans but by the development of technology.
Thu Hà: Ms. Peter, Does environmental pollution affect health?
Ms. Peter: Yeah, noise pollution has adverse effects on human health: reduced hearing, risks of
cardiovascular disease, and psychological effects,...
- The current solution is to stay in a soundproof place or wear earplugs to protect yourself from
noise. In addition, to reduce the possibility of noise pollution, the government encourages people
to walk and ride bicycles, install public bicycle parking spaces, and recommend that people no
longer ride motorbikes.
Thu Hà: This is really useful. Thanks for your sharing. See you again in the following
conversations.
Ms. Peter: Thanks everyone for your listening. Hope to meet people more times.

PART 4: TOPIC: EDUCATION - HOÀNG YẾN

This conversation includes 2 members: Hoang Yen and Thu Ha. Hoang Yen acts as the
Education Expert, Thu Ha acts as MC. The topic discusses “Three popular trends in Education
recently”.

Thu Hà: (MC introduces the topic) And now we move on to a topic that is also very good.as we all
know in our life, education plays an important role. And in this show, it becomes one of the
topics we will discuss. Now, we're going to talk to the last guest from the Ministry of Education
and Training - Ms. Sara.
Hoàng Yến: (Come in and introduce) Hello everyone, My name is Sara and I am an Expert in
Education. (Interact with MC) Hi Azu, long time to see you!
Thu Hà: (Shark hand) Nice to meet you, Sara. I am so happy to see you here. Welcome to our
show!
Hoàng Yến: Thanks!
Thu Hà: So today I want to discuss with you the topic of education. Are you ready for the show?
Hoàng Yến: Yes, I am.
Thu Hà: Okay. Let me check.. The question for you is What are the three popular Trends in
Education? Do you know?
Hoàng Yến: (Support presentation) Based on our surveys, three popular Trends in Education are
Online Learning, Distance Learning and Blended Learning. Coming out on top is Online
Learning. You have information about it, don’t you?
Thu Hà: (Support presentation) Yeah! I have searched for some information about it. This is the
form of learning which is delivered through websites, apps, and other platforms.
Hoàng Yến: (Support presentation) This method has become one of the most popular trends of
one special event in human lives. That’s Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 effects, over 1.2 billion
children are out of school, globally. At this time, it is impossible for teachers and learners to
attend face-to-face classes. Therefore, many traditional classes transform into online classes.
Online learning seems to be the most effective way to maintain and ensure educational
quality.
Thu Hà: Hmm… I can see many advantages of this form and know why it has become the most
popular trend in Education. What about Distance Learning?
Hoàng Yến: (Support presentation) As you know, Distance Learning is a type of education
where students may not always be present at school.
Thu Hà: Is it similar to Online Learning?

Hoàng Yến: (Support presentation) No, it isn’t. At first glance, some people may think that
Distance Learning is similar to Online Learning. However, these modern trends are not exactly
the same. With remote learning, learners can get a course, but don’t require them to interact with
their teachers.
Thu Hà: I understand. So they get a course and learn through videos but not interact with
lectures and teachers, right?
Hoàng Yến: Yes! Now we move to the third of the population trends in Education - Blended
Learning. What do you think about Blended Learning?
Thu Hà: (Support presentation) I think with this method, learners can make use of both
face-to-face and e-learning training methods. Thanks to that, learners become the center of
learning.
Hoàng Yến: (Support presentation) Yeah! Meanwhile, teachers play the role of mentors to
learners. This modern way can wake their learning motivation up.
Thu Hà: That is an interesting form of learning. I have got a course about business which uses
this method, and I am very excited when I study it. So there are three popular Trends in
Education we have discussed. Thank you for your coming here and giving many benefits
information for this show! See you next time!
Hoàng Yến: Goodbye Azu and everyone! I hope to see you soon!
