H: Hi Phuong, what are u doing?

P: Hello Han. I’m following a recent controversy.

H: Oh! That’s interesting, may I know what it’s about

P: Of course, now in Facebook/social networking sites, people are alking about
the topic that To have a successful conversation, the two speakers must share
the same opinions on what they are discussing. So which direction u agree w.
H: That’s a tough question! I think two people should have same opinion
because when we talk about the topic that and we have same thinking and same
feelings u can make conservation more happy and easily to share together.
P: Really? Im not agree with u because when we have same opt it’s not
interesting. U need a a heated debate so that we can discuss and discuss more
deeply the issues as well as explore many aspects. That's also an advantage.
H: Maybe. When you have an argument, tension can lead to discord and into a
big argument. That can damage the feelings of two people and it is not a
successful conversation.
P: I don't mean that, we discuss so that two people have the same opinion, not a
fierce argument that leads to the breakdown of friendship. Must know how to
control that. Like now you and me are both discussing this issue.
H: ok I got it. This is an fascinating topic, and it has been quite benefitcial to
me.
Thank u for the talking time w me about that.
P: We will talk again later. Have a nice day. See u
H: Goodbye. Have a nice day too.

P: Hello Han. I’m following a recent controversy.

H: Oh! That’s interesting, may I know what it’s about

P: Of course, now in social networking sites, people are alking about the topic
plastic bags should be banned completely to help protect the environment. So
which direction u agree.
H: I totally agree because plastic bags pose a major threat to the environment in
most country. First, they pollute soild and water enviroment. Second, they will
produce dioxins, furans, which pollute the air, cause poisoning, affect endocrine
glands, reduce immunity, cause cancer... You can see the terrible harm plastic
causes to the environment even affects people.
P: Omg, it’s terrible but it’s not really harmful. It’s just that we humans make it
harmful. In fact, it is very compact, and convenient storage bag. You should
dispose of garbage in the right place so as not to pollute the environment.
Instead of banning the use of plastic bags, there should be a law that severely
punishes those who litter indiscriminately and pollute the environment. That
would be better.
H: As I mentioned above, there are toxic subtances that can harm human health.
P: Humans also make mistakes when using and littering.
Our thoughts are so diffierent.
H: This is an fascinating topic, and it has been quite benefitcial to me.
Thank u for the talking time w me about that.

P: Of course, now in social networking sites, people are alking about the topic
Some people think that working out at the gym is more effective than working
out at home. So which direction u agree.
H: That’s tough topic. In my opinion, working at gym is more effective because
at gym it will be easier to chosse exercises related to exercises machines that are
not available at home.
P: This is good point but when u w at home. U can feel more comfortable, u can
buy ropes or exercise mats to jump rope or do yoga exercises that u are also
very healthy and convient.
H: I know what u’re saying but what do u think about gym enviroment? There
are sth about being gym, meet professional bodybuilders and lots of people, that
give u a motivation and a boost. We often draw energy from others and it can
push us to work harder.
P: I don’t think so. For example, I feel compeletely satisfied watching at
workout videos on Youtube and following them. You will also feel comfortable
that no one is watching and prying as you work out. They also give me a lot of
motivation too. It’s not just a gym that helps us exercise better.
H: I totallt agree w u. This is an fascinating topic, and it has been quite
benefitcial to me. Thank u for the talking time w me about that.
P: We will talk again later. Have a nice day. See u

P: Hello Han. I’m following a recent controversy.

H: Oh! That’s interesting, may I know what it’s about

P: Of course, now in social networking sites, people are alking about the topic
Subjects like art and music should be made compulsory in schools. So which
direction u agree.
H: That’s tough topic. I agree w that because learn music and art is very useful.
It’s nccessary because of some basic reason. Firstly, learn music and art alow
children to relax. Secondly, it helps develop môtr skills, develop thinking, and
problem-solving skills which may assist children in attaining better learning
outcomes.
P: I think it shouldn’t. It’s waste time. Why not learn more important subjects
that would be benefits children for their future life. Example like: Math,
physics, science, technology,… That enable student to find a good job after
graduation.
H: U know that some children not have enough talent and smart to learn that so
they can chose works towards art or music. On the other hand, art and music
can connect children. Ex: they sing the song could bring energy and positive
emotion to students.
P: I’m sorry. Our thoughts are so diffenrent.
H: This is an fascinating topic, and it has been quite benefitcial to me. Thank u
for the talking time w me about that.

P: Hello Han. I’m following a recent controversy.

H: Oh! That’s interesting, may I know what it’s about

P: Of course, now in social networking sites, people are alking about the topic
People think that foreign cultures threaten the identity of the nation. So which
direction u agree.
H: I think yes. Because today a part of young people is having a modern trends
and they gradually forgot their traditional features. Example: Teenager use
Speak Vietnamese but insert 1-2 English sentences. This has been the case for
several years now.
P: I think that's normal. It is possible that people study bilingual or study
English a lot, so they are confused. That is not loss of national identity.
Sorry but I don’t see in this way. In my view, traditional culture is not threated,
it is just growing. English language has spread all over the world. The use of
English and even Vietnamese language is really normal.
H: No I don not think so. Cutural traditions are sth that has been ảound for a
long time. We have to keep it, it can develop like that.
P: No, you are not understanding my thought. The good culture traditions such
as Ao Dai, Tet, … it not been lost. We are just thrơing away very outdated
traditionals, not making society develop.
H: I’m sorry. Our thoughts are so diffenrent. But this is an fascinating topic, and
it has been quite benefitcial to me.

Are social skills more important than education when looking for a job? So
which direction u agree.
H: I competely disagree. That’s ridiculous. In my opinion, knowledge is one of
the most prerequisites to help you in the future. IT is not by chance parents want
children go to school. The deciding factor must be education.
P: I think different than u. Social skills are really impotant. If you have a degree
but don't have social skills, that's a big drawback. A person with life experience
and social skills will help people deal w difficult situations more effectively.
Education can be train, but skills must be accumulated.
H: A large employer or company always looks at your degree because it is the
deciding factor in whether you get a job. Not socal skills.
P: I’m sorry. Our thoughts are so diffenrent.
H: This is an fascinating topic, and it has been quite benefitcial to me. Thank u
for the talking time w me about that.
