Happy Halloween!!! Let’s celebrate this holiday together!
In this manual, I describe in more detail the process of making garments for a toy with a
height – about 40 cm (16 inches) and a head circumference – about 40 cm (16 inches).
The pattern uses US terms (UK in quotes).
You will find:

Yarn
For this outfit I recommend to use Cotton yarn, but you can choose any yarn you
wish. I give you all yarn parameters:
Weight of Yarn: 4-ply
Length/weight*(yardage): about 200m in 50g *(218yards in 50g)

2 buttons for the spider’s eyes(6mm)
2 Buttons for spider imitation: 15mm and 10mm
Satin ribbon about 70cm (0.76yards)
Tulle fabric (for the underskirt) about 80cm*60cm (0.87*0.65yards)
Stuffing for the spider and pumpkin

Instruments:
 Crochet hook 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm (for pumpkin)
 Sewing needle

Tips:

Slip stitch: Insert hook in indicated st. yarn over and pull through both loops on your hook.
Single Crochet (Double Crochet): Insert hook in in indicated st, yarn over. Pull through loop, yarn over and pull through
both loops on your hook.
Increase: work 2 SC (DC) in one stitch.
Decrease: skip stitch and work SC (DC) in next st
REVERSE SINGLE CROCHET:
1. 2Ch
2. Insert hook (from front to back) in the 2nd st to the right
3. Yarn over and draw the yarn throught the stitch
4. Yarn over and draw the yarn throught the 2 loops on the hook
5. Repeat the preceding steps in every stitch across the row

Hook Recommendations:

If you didn't crochet the clothes before, it is better to try crochet more freely or take the bigger hook (approx.
+0,5 mm) than it is recommended in the pattern

Sew 2 buttons on the dress for a spider imitation

Embroider chain stitch along armholes as it shown on pic
On the edges of the collar with black: 2 rows - SC (DC)
With black thread make decoration
On the edge of the left half of the back with a black thread we make button loops(Chains).
Sew 3 buttons on the dress.
Sew the underskirt: Cut the fabric - 4 parts(80cm*15cm) and stitch one edge to the middle
of satin ribbon (make gathers during stitching), total about 26 cm (the tails will be
tightened on the body)
