Purpose:
To provide a list of external parts that should accompany Titan™ 130 engines returned to Solar’s
overhaul facilities.
NOTE
Information contained in this service bulletin only pertains to Titan 130 engines.
Refer to your maintenance manual and/or appropriate service bulletin for other
engines.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
When an engine is returned to a Solar’s overhaul facility, some external engine components must
be evaluated and then reconditioned or replaced, as appropriate. Failure to return these parts with
the engine to the overhaul center may result in delays and an increase in cost to the end user.
Information regarding what to return can be found in your maintenance manual and here in the
Action Required section.
NOTE
If the clutch is also being replaced, all clutch components mounted on the
gearbox and on the starter must be returned.
