(1st Quarter)

I. OBJECTIVES:

K: Identify letter Ll
S: Match words with pictures.
A: Shows honesty by telling the truth.
Relate story events to one’s experience.
A .Content Standard: The learner demonstrates knowledge of the alphabet and decoding to read, write and
spell words correctly.
B. Performance Standard: The learner applies grade level phonics and word analysis skills in reading, writing
and spelling words.
C. Learning Competency:
Identify Upper and lower case letters. ( Letter Ll ) (MT1PWR-Ib-i-2.1)

1. Reading a story (“ ANG LATA”)
Ang Lata
Ni: Gea C. Alonso

Adunay duha ka batang babaye ng ginganlan og Leah ug Lara. Nagdula sila


sa luyo sa balay ni Lola Lala. Nakakita si Leah og lata. Gitawag niya si Lara ug
gipakita ang lata bug-at ug tayaon ang lata. Natingala si Leah ug Lara unsay sulod
sa lata. Busa nisulod sila sa balay ug gipakita kang lola Lala. Pagkakita ni Lola
Lala, nalipay kayo siya. Kay ang maong lata, lata diay nga alkansiya sa iyang apo
nga si Lora. Nagpasalamat si Lola Lala nila ni Leah ug ni Lara.

Ask:
1. Nganong importante man nga mutug-an kita sa tinood?
2. Kung ikaw si Leah ug Lara, unsa ang imong buhaton kung ikaw ang
nakakita sa lata na adunay sulod nga kwarta?
3. Nganong importante man nga kita makabalo kung unsaon pagtigum ug
kwarta?
4. Kung ikaw si Leah ug Lara, imo bang buhaton ang ilang gibuhat? Imo
bang iuli ang maong alkansiya sa tag-iya? Ngano man?
MOTIVATION
 Pupils will find words inside the big box. These can be words they already
learned or, even better, words they had not learned previously.
 Read the words with the pupils as they identify them.
 Teacher writes/paste the word and let them count the syllables. (M1NS-
Ib-2.1) Math Integration

B. Activity Handwriting
 (Pupils will practice writing the new letter.)
Say:
I want you to write the new letter. This is big letter L. The name of the letter is L.
The sound of the letter is /l/.
Ask them to copy your movements and practice writing the letter in the air 3-4
times using their different body parts like foot and head. (PE1PF-Ia-h-2) PE
Integration
 (Pupils practice writing the letter L in their activity sheets.)
GROUP ACTIVITY

Group 1- Picture Hunt


Let the pupils look for some pictures that start with letter L inside the
envelope and paste it on the cartolina .

Pagdibuho ug duha ( 2 ) ka mananap o sapat nga gasugod sa letrang L.
