Statement of Purpose

I am writing to express my sincere interest in pursuing Master's at Eötvös Loránd University. As a

recently graduated Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology (QUEST), Sindh, Pakistan, I am eager
to further enhance my knowledge and skills in the field.

I am Haresh Kumar, a dedicated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for creative problem-solving
and acute attention to detail. Motivated by challenges, I consistently leverage my technical and
analytical skills to overcome obstacles and advance in my professional career.

I completed my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University, achieving a

commendable CGPA of 3.25/4. During my academic journey, I developed a solid foundation in
mechanical engineering principles and their practical applications.

I gained valuable hands-on experience through internships at reputable organizations. At Jamshoro

Power Company Limited (JPCL), I was involved in the maintenance and operation of mechanical
systems, including boilers, turbines, and generators. This experience provided me with insights into
equipment performance monitoring, routine inspections, and an in-depth understanding of various
mechanical components.

Additionally, my internship at the Pakistan Meteorology Department allowed me to explore the role
of mechanical engineering in the development and operation of meteorological instruments. I
actively contributed to projects such as the design of a solar-powered weather station and the
development of an innovative rain gauge.

As a volunteer for the 'Grand Reunion' event at Quaid-e-Awam University, I played a crucial role in
planning and executing a successful alumni gathering. My responsibilities included event logistics,
customer service, and collaboration with event coordinators to ensure a seamless experience for
attendees.

I also served in the Team Media/Management at Mehran Engineer’s Intellectual Forum QUEST
Nawabshah, where I honed my teamwork and organizational skills.

I have completed a CPD credit point course in AutoCAD and a CPD credit point workshop in MS
Office, showcasing my commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry-
relevant skills.

In addition to my technical skills, I possess proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and

Zotero. My social skills include leadership, team management, negotiation, and networking. My
interests span public speaking, book reading, renewable energy, sustainability, and community
services. I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.

I believe that my academic background, professional experiences, and diverse skill set make me a
