Resolution No. 002

Series of 2023

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. JHON PAUL G. GUERGIO AS THE SECRETARY OF
THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY DOONGAN, BUTUAN CITY

WHEREAS, Section 2 of Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, states
that the State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and thus, promotes and protects their physical,
moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being, inculcates in them patriotism, nationalism and other desirable values,
and encourages their involvement in public and civic affairs.

WHEREAS, Section 8 (j) (1) of Republic Act 11768, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015,
states that within sixty (60) days from their assumption of office, the Sangguniang Kabataan shall appoint its secretary
and treasurer.

WHEREAS, Mr. Jhon Paul G. Guergio possess all the qualifications for a Sangguninang Kabataan Secretary as provided
under Section 10 of Republic Act 11768.

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Hon. Grace M. Palaran and duly seconded by all the members of the council, be
it.

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to concur the appointment of Mr. Jhon Paul G. Guergio as the Secretary of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Doongan, Butuan City until the end of the term of the appointing authority unless
sooner removed.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be given to Mr. Jhon Paul G. Guergio for his file, copy furnish the DILG
City Local Government Operations Office, Local Youth Development Office of Butuan City, and Panlungsod Pederasyon
ng mga SK Office of Butuan City for their information and record.

Approved and adopted this 6th day of December, 2023 at Sangguniang Kabataan Office of Barangay Doongan, Butuan
City, Agusan del Norte, Philippines.
