3.If the strength of soil is week excavation shall be carried out


at an angle of response of soil & stepping for access to be
provided to avoid the hazards.

4.Trenches 1.2 meter (4 feet) or deeper must be shored or


benched or sloped back to the angle.

5. When the depth of excavation is more than 1.5 meters,


properly designed shoring, and benching shall be placed on
each side.

6.All moving machine and vehicles shall maintain safe


distance of 2 meter form the edge of excavation or provide
necessary shuttering or shoring if required depending upon
the situation.

as necessary prior to use.
