A,J- so for today talk talk show we have special guess but before that I want to say that like father like

RADA-hello mr lance

ABARCAR- how are you mr lance

A.J-i'm fine thankyou,Are you both ready to talk about your life and how you became successful in life??

RADA- yes, we are ready to share our life with you

A.J- great then let's talk about it, so how will the two of you start your journey in life?

ABARCAR- so our life back then was just difficult..one time situation came that her mother kicked me
out and said that I would not take one of my children with me

A.J-ow how did you take shami with you?

RADA-In those days, I was still young, so what I did was I chased him and hugged him, I also asked him,
will you leave me? will you leave us?

A,J- oh what happened next if your mom didn't like it ?

ABARCAR- I explained to shami that life is hard, I don't have a job, I don't have a place to live, but
because she loves me, I took her with me even though her mother didn't want to.

A,J- AW so where do you go if you don't have money??

RADA- so he took me to luneta park I was a young at that time,, so as a child I was very amazed at luneta
because the place was beautiful so I really ran around and saying that wow it's beautiful here

A.J- so how did you two live in luneta??

RADA- of cource as a child I don't really understand why we sleep in luneta park but I don't care I'm
happy because I'm with him and one day he took me to nueva cija because he has a job there but
suddenly we didn't spend much time there so we went back to luneta park again

A.J- as far as i know shami was adopted by the nuns??how?

ABARCAR- I sidelined at the children's center, I talked to some nuns about the hardships of life, so the
nuns offered me that they could help me for shami needs and specially education.

A.J- ah so it's like ,,,they're convincing you to adopt shami??

ABARCAR- yes

A.J- so you agree?

ABARCAR- At first I refused because Shami is close to me and she doesn't want to be separated from me,

A,J- did he tell you shami about the nuns offering to help you?

RADA- no, but there was a situation where he asked me if I wanted to go to the children's center and
stay there? so I told him that I want it because there is good food,, there is a bed,, the sisters are kind,,
and I can study there .. then he told me that he has to work far away and he can't take me with him

A.J- what was your reaction to that?

RADA- of course my heart was heavy and I wanted to cry and I asked him if he would leave me? but he
talked to me and made me understand that he wants me to be brave, he promised to visit me once every
two weeks

A,J-so he left you to the children center?

RADA- yes. he left me in that center and he kept his promise to me,

A,J- how many years did he leave you there?

rada- 10 years and I finished my high school with their help

A,J- then? did your dad take you out?

RADA- yes, I continued my life with him in the luneta park,,since I've grown up, I'm aware of the reality
that it's really different from the luneta park that I thought when I was a child,i realize that there are a
lot of bad people there and ,,i experienced the hardship of life

A,J- how did you become successful in life?

RADA- so there was an organization that talked to me, that gave me a scholarship that made our lives
easier and because of them I was able to finish college,

ABARCAR- As for me, I found a good job and we got a house and a car and our life is better than before,

RADA- and I'm a successful doctor and I'm working on a program for street people to help them,,
