Ozamiz City National High School being proactive to all DepEd Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs), will
support by joining the 18th National Scouts Jamboree at Camp Pintados de Passi, City of Passi, Iloilo with
the theme: “Youth Engagement: Sustaining Relevance and Strengthening Resilience” on December 11-17,
2023 per Memorandum Circular No. 2023 - 161 from the Department of the Interior and Local
Government.

The jamboree is conducted only every four (4) years nationwide which will be participated by around 30,
000 scouts and 300 foreign scouts from neighboring countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. This aims to
provide a progressive learning environment for scouts in creating a better community. With our
participation, our young boys will be able to develop the ability to do useful things for themselves, to
others and to the community and inculcate in them patriotism, civic consciousness, discipline and self-
reliance.

In line with this, we would like to ask your permission to please allow the following students listed below to
be excused from your classes starting December 11 until December 15, 2023. We are humbly asking you
also to please consider to give them the percentage score (where they are present) on quizzes or activity
they missed or only compute the scores they attended in class to lessen the burden in coping up with the
affected lessons on your subject.
