ORDINANCE NO. 05-2019

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2018-224 STRICTLY
IMPLEMENTING THE “NO HOME DELIVERY POLICY” IN BARANGAY MINAGBAG,
QUEZON, ISABELA
BE IT ENACTED BY THE SANGUNIANG BARANGAY OF MINAGBAG, QUEZON,
ISABELA IN ITS REGULAR SESSION HELD ON JULY 30, 2019, THAT:
Section 1: PURPOSE: To ensure the safety of both the mother and the child during and after
delivery.
Section 2. All pregnant mothers are hereby prohibited to deliver / give birth at home. They are
required to deliver / give birth at birthing facilities.
Section 3. Any person found violating this ordinance shall be fined:
First Offense: ₱1,000.00
Second and succeeding Offenses: ₱2,000.00

Section 4. All Barangay Health Workers are hereby advised to conduct a periodic inventory /
monitoring of all pregnant mothers in their respective area of responsibility for the
successful implementation of this Ordinance.
Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval and copies of the same
shall be posted in conspicuous places within the barangay for its widest
dissemination.
