May 2021 – Current: Volunteering involves educating primary school aged
children about health and wellbeing, ensuring all students are engaged and
learning, answering children’s questions and collaborating with other
volunteers to make sure visits run smoothly.
AMES Dandenong
August 2019 – October 2019: The experience included helping newly arrived
migrants and refugees improve their English conversation skills at the AMES
center in Dandenong. Sessions comprised of workplace scenario roleplays,
sharing information about Australian culture, and learning about different
international customs, and discussing the participants aspirations for the
future.
