coupon may be any product from plate, pipe etc.
Mechanical Test Requirements: A document stating all applicable mechanical tests
Specimen: A sample of a test coupon for a specific test

4. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project Manager: will be responsible to ensure this Procedure is well implemented
and will be responsible to make sure the planned equipment, material, personnel are
available.

• QA/QC Coordinator will be responsible for the identification of all the ranges (Base
Metals and filler metals), to issue the comprehensive list of each material and filler
metal to be used, to issue the List of mechanical test type and ranges (Mechanical test
Requisition form), to issue the WPS to be Qualified, to issue the PQR, and to issue the
WPS qualified by the PQR.

• QC Supervisor : Will be responsible to Monitor and Record all activity during the WPS
/ PQR Qualification, to issue the Daily welding report, to issue the Visual test Report, to
issue the NDT Request, To collect the test Coupon Base material certificate, to collect
the Filler metal certificate, he shall be assisted by the Welding Inspector.

• Welding Inspector: will be responsible to Assist the QC Supervisor and to Monitor


and record the welding parameters, the preheating, the inter-pass temp, the Amp, the
Volt, The travel speed, the Filler Metal size, the run Length, the Welder ID, the
handling of Filler metals, ( during the welding of the test coupon ), to inspect and
accept visually the weld.

• Third Party : will be responsible to endorse all PQR Document , and to witness each
PQR activity

• QC Inspector: will assist the QC Supervisor and the Welding Inspector, to monitor,
verify any parameters, collect any necessary information or document, in any case the
welding inspector will be responsible for any final verification and acceptance of welds.

• NDT Coordinator : will be responsible to perform the NDT and to issue the NDT
report

• Material Coordinator: Will be responsible to supervise the reception, storage and


distribution of all materials (base metals, filler materials) received on site.
