worship of the god Tir who had enormous knowledge in almost
all fields, including architecture. I sincerely hope that one
more cosmic name will be revealed and added to the list of
Armenian geniuses, which will shed new light on the biography
and activities of the temple.
Nature, God, prompts and compels us to make a
commitment and go on the path of uncovering the thousand-
year-old secret, otherwise we will regret it a lot. By unraveling
the mystery of the temple, we will have answers to many veiled
and hidden questions. No matter how pleasant it is, we still have
to make a certain historical excursion, which is necessary to
call things by their proper names.
To call a spade a spade, we must first be clear about some
things.
1. When we say God, we should understand Nature and vice
versa.
2. Paganism is symbolized naturalism. We will use the term
naturalist.
3. The Armenian concept is generally referred to as “Noble”
because
The beautiful is the divine, the noble is the human.
An Armenian means noble.
An Armenian is the charm of the world..
36
have always tried to hinder and degrade the sublime, those
who live by the laws of nature. They even appropriated the
concept of a naturalistic god, and unfortunately they mostly
succeeded in doing so. Understanding the power of the word
god, they appropriated it and manipulated, adapted it to their
subjugating doctrine. And the perception of the word faith,
which refers to the truth of nature and means in the real sense
of the word
- Coordinated Collective Mind, they attributed to their
subjugating doctrine. At a certain stage of our history, finding
ourselves at a fatal crossroads, facing a choice, we chose the
wrong path for the future. In the future, we lost and missed the
opportunity to correct that mistake. Instead of following the
path of virtue, we followed the path of falsehood. The history of
Armenia is not just a history of nation, civilization or statehood.
It is a continuing apostolic history of divine creation on earth.
An Armenian is the apostle of the creator on earth.
There is an Armenia that we know more or less: torn to
pieces, broken, plundered, destroyed.
But there was another Haik, which for now is beyond our
understanding, cosmic, pre-created... Haik, becoming Armenia,
lost the worship of their gods, the value system, the worldview.
Almost everything changed. The preserved fragments only give
an idea of the great loss.
The same was not done in Greece. Christianity kept the
ancient culture under ban, but it did not destroy it, it did not
uproot it, as was done in Armenia.
- Why?
The answer is one.
In Haik, the naturalistic creed of the Armenians in its value
system was much higher, more noble than the newly invented
Christian values. Speaking of pre-Christian values in general,
37
many intentionally imitate the ancient Armenian theology, and
sometimes derive it from the Greek one.
Apart from ignorance, this also has a tendency in it. The
gods of the Greek mythology, epic heroes are almost all immoral,
cruel, bloodthirsty. They do not have a certain value system,
moral standards.
Meanwhile, Haik has been called the land of sacred laws,
the land of divine values since ancient times. The struggle
between the East and the West in our Armenian highlands was
also a struggle for worldview and lifestyle.
Hamlet Martirosyan, head of the Ancient Civilization
Research Center, writes:
“In the 1st-3rd centuries, the authors of the gospels
describing Christ’s earthly life and the preachers of the newly
created religion had one main problem: to create, justify and
spread the image of a new sacred land, which would obscure
the glory of Haik. That is why they created an image of a god
incarnate to make him live and walk in the land that they intended
to declare a holy land. Their task was to present Palestine,
especially Jerusalem, as the abode of god. They presented
their invented god with the adjectives Anointed, Savior, Son,
which until then belonged to the eldest son of the Armenian
god, Marduk=Maratuk=Armenak=Aramazd=HAL.DI, who was
proclaimed the Creator and King of the Gods. The newly created
Christianity forcibly eliminated the Haik script and temples,
the libraries of Alexandria, classical Greek culture, the use of
cuneiform script and Egyptian writing, and it took over the world.
They forcibly took the old memory from the world. A short time
later came the second semitic wave, Islam, in which Jerusalem
also had the status of a holy land. In the past, Jerusalem which was
built in the 19th century BC was one of the centers of Marduk’s
worship whom the Egyptian priest Manetho mentions under the
38
name Hyksos-king priest. They freed Egypt from the raids of the
Semitic tribes and established their 500-year rule there.
The memories about Haik returned about 1700 years later,
after the decipherment of cuneiform writing, but they did not
receive proper attention and research. Haik had such a status
of sanctity, which was never repeated elsewhere and which was
widespread and famous throughout the ancient world. With that
status, Haik was imagined in the world perception system of the
time as the axis of the structure of the Universe, the support of
the earth, the sacred abode of the gods...
All this is evidenced in 3-5 thousand-year-old cuneiform
sources.
We have forgotten the meaning and essence of our mission,
the knowledge of patriotism, we have lost most of the homeland,
the divine sanctuary has been defiled.
The national goal is to restore all this.”
By becoming Armenia, Haik lost its ancient glory and power.
King Trdat D, it is true, was powerful, but he did not understand
many abstruse things. The priests were the scholars and wise
men of the time, who had accumulated five thousand years
of vast knowledge in their vault. Suddenly at the whim of King
Trdat, they were replaced by clerics whom he had called from
Byzantium and Greece and who avoided and feared science.
They did not know the Armenian language, they
performed church ceremonies in foreign languages that were
incomprehensible to us. And under that pretext, some priests
from Vahevunyats and Aghbianosyats priest classes made a very
smooth transition to the Catholicos class, being a rival to the
dynasty of Grigor the “enlightener”, but a secret continuation of
the old priest class. They later joined the Pavlikian movement, so
it can be said that their disappearance was a surprise. A part of
the priests converted to Christianity and became clergymen of
39
the church. Subsequent events show that the Armenian priests
accepted Christianity apparently. Probably two circumstances
led them to that act.
a) the hope that the old values will soon be restored.
b) if that hope does not come true in a short time, then they will
have another way of storing knowledge.
It is a fact that their hopes were not justified by the first point,
therefore they had to choose the other option of knowledge
preservation. They began to secretly educate and prepare the
heirs to whom they would pass on their knowledge. This was a
variant in which the hereditary order of devotees connected to
the national faith was formed. The first results of that underground
activity of the secret priests who accepted Christianity begin to
be clearly seen in the 4th-5th centuries.
That process continues until the 9th-11th centuries, when the
first lists of the sign book of wisdom appear in the books in the
background of the Tondrakian movement. The ideological heirs
of the secret priests continue to preserve and spread the ancient
knowledge, to preserve the memory of national values. They
used a script that has fallen out of use, but has been preserved
by them.
We learn from some sources that in the 4th century, part
of the priests who fought bravely and the remnants of the small
elite army that supported them had been defeated by King
Trdat and Grigor. They left for the territory of Ani, where the
new ideology of national comradeship was established, which
became the basis to the Pavlikian movement.
“The Pavlikian movement SHOCKED the East and ILLUMI
NATED the West”- said Gibbon (English historian, culturalist).
In the 4th and 5th centuries, the city of Ani was famous for its
unshakable, unbroken, rebellious people, and that’s why the
priests chose that place. The symbol of the ancient Armenian
40
city of Ani was the Cross-of-war of the god Vahagn, which until
today decorates the front of the old door of the destroyed city.
Pavlikian’s idea of national comradeship had no prototype
not only in Haik, but in the world, and even nowadays the
countries that imitated those ideas had unprecedented progress.
The best examples of them are Israel and China. The Pavlikian
movement had an unexpected great success, as a result of which
a decision was made to build one powerful naturalistic temple,
which would unite and consolidate the council of all bishops
under one common roof. It would bear the name of the god Tir
with Vahagn-Anahitic empowering principles and the teaching
principles of Mihr.
Many people have the misconception that if there are eight
gods in the Armenian canon, then it is polytheism. In fact, they
all serve one purpose, Nature. They are divided according to
spheres, 4+4 between the male and female, which solves the
problem of gender equality. Nature is the guarantor of balance.
Immediately after its construction, the temple is transformed
into a scientific-educational, cultural and military-sports center
(now: MESCS). With the unification of the priests, a new impetus
was to be given to the Pavlikian movement and then also to their
inheritor, the Tondrakian movement, which lasted for more than
seven centuries.
That bright phenomenon that lasted for seven centuries,
as well as the role and significance of the temple of Tir or
Yereruik, was never clarified, and that was one of the reasons for
the destruction of the temple later. At the beginning of the 11th
century the temple was destroyed by the earthquake and after
that it was renamed Yereruik. So, the bright trace left by it was
forgotten.
The temple left a huge mark in the history of Armenians,
which we were not aware of. Starting from the 5th to the 11th
41
century, almost all the great Armenians studied the knowledge
and experience accumulated in the temple.
4 - 5th century - Mesrop Mashtots, Movses Khorenatsi
6 - 7th century - Davit Anhaght
7 - 8th century - Anania Shirakatsi, the founder of natural
sciences
9 - 10th century - Grigor Narekatsi, Smbat Zarehavantsi
11 - 21st century - ...Daniel Varuzhan... Garegin Nzhdeh...
One of the greatest revelations of the temple is the famous
“Ashkharatsuyts” (book-map that reveals and shows the world),
whose authors are considered unknown. This is how Bagrat
Ulubabyan, the writer of the “The Golden Chain” describes and
values it in his book; “One of the medieval intellectuals said: he
who has treasure is rich, and if he knows the value of what he
has, he is powerful.”
The wealth of every nation is made up of the treasures of
material and spiritual culture that it has created across paths of
its life. And those people best and deeply understand the value
of what they have created. The opposite cannot be the case.
How many centuries have we been proud of, and foreigners
have admired our wonderful geoscientific monument, which was
created in the early Middle Ages, and is called “Ashkharatsuyts”.
It is a not so large book, a historical-geographical encyclopedia
dedicated to Mets Haik, the homeland of the yet unknown
author and its neighboring and non-neighboring, far-near
countries. And all those countries are spoken about with such
well-informed precision that it is an exceptional phenomenon
for its century. For a long time, many questions related to
“Ashkharatsuyts” have been examined, including the most
important one: who is the author of that historical-geographical
monument. In relation to this, when was the monument itself
created, what was its pre-creation state, and what did later ones
42
add? Before, Movses Khorenatsi was recognized as the author of
“Ashkharatsuyts”. Even now it is attributed to Anania Shirakatsi.
It must be mentioned that the first one is our greatest chronicler
of the fifth century, and the other illuminated the Armenian
environment of the seventh century.
Other authors are also looked for...”
In this case, the author’s skepticism is very appropriate,
because the “Ashkharatsuyts” was probably developed in the
temple of Tir and not only Khorenatsi worked on it in the 5th
century, but also Davit Anhaght in the 6th century, and it was
completed by Anania Shirakatsi in the 7th century. A precise work
that lasted for about three centuries and could only be developed
in the temple of Tir, Yereruik. It must also be mentioned that the
temple was located on the silk road, in the area of active cosmic
flows.
There are things that the universe regulates.
The hidden activities of the temple were known to certain
limited circles until the 11th century, but it has left its mark even
today. At the beginning of the 20th century, the great mystical
thinker Gyorgy Gurdjieff appeared in Leninakan (Gyumri), about
whom legends circulate. It is said that Gurdjieff went to Dalai
Lama in Tibet to perfect the secrets of mysticism, but Dalai Lama
sent him back, saying that there is a more powerful temple in
Armenia where you can communicate with the universe without
words. Gurdjieff returned and found the Temple of Tir, where he
was able to communicate and sense the energy fields. It is said
that he even found powerful fragments in the caves. It is also
said that during the Second World War, he simultaneously had
free access to the leaders of two hostile countries, Stalin and
Hitler. This sounds like a legend, but legends are mostly based
on reality.
43
Now let’s reflect on the events of the 4th-5th centuries and
we will get approximately the following picture: After the invasion
of Christianity into the Armenian land, the religious structures
were widely destroyed, the accumulated books and knowledge
were destroyed and burned, severe punishments were imposed
on the disobedient. But it is not said what forces and what fierce
resistance they met in Haik, or who were the resisters. These
are also questions that demand answers. The writer Vardan
Grigoryan gives an approximate picture of what happened in
a rather interesting way in his book “Manya Airk”, and if very
briefly, it can be described as follows.
Trdat D, being one of the powerful kings of the time, had
serious conflicts with the priestly class. He decided to replace the
priests with a Christian named Grigor who was formerly known as
Suren, the son of Anak. He was a Parthian (Jewish with roots) and
was the preacher of subjugation doctrine, imprisoned for life. To
be more concise and descriptive, I will quote a small part from
the book:
“... Only Grigor knew that the reason was the absence of
Trdat the Great, the crowd did not follow the cross, but him. A
powerful Armenian king, who was believed more than the old and
new gods, worshiped more than the idols and the cross. Trdat the
Great, who was born a heathen and was to die a heathen, who,
although he had tied a cross on his chest and was anointed with
a new religion, but in the moment of anger like before, was more
hideous than Aramazd, more formidable in battle than Vahagn,
more unrestrained in temptation than Sandaramet. The king
who had not yet become a king was honored with royal honor
in the Greek world, carrying the imperial cloak on his shoulders,
who was invincible both in the circus and on the battlefield. The
last powerful ruler of Haykaznunis, who considered himself equal
44
to the interests of the Persians and the Roman emperor. The
king who invaded the land of the Sasanians every spring, during
whose leadership the Armenian troop had not yet been defeated.
Trdat the Great, whose life and work, contrary to logic, was a
denial of his own established faith. He did what he wanted and
there was no one who went against his will. Even Grigor became
his meek accomplice when he agreed to come out of the prison
of deep wounds, instead of the halo of a persecuting prophet,
he put on a patriarchal crown. Cursed would be the day when
Trdat deprived him of the glory of confessor and holy witness
with an unexpected decision, gave him power, turned him from
a persecutory into a persecutor. Hope and strength were united
by his alliance with the king. The king spread terror, he spread
hope. Hope, combined with fear, made the path of faith much
easier than he had expected, but now the king had broken the
alliance, left him alone in front of these last three...”
By the last three, the author meant the three fanes, that the
royal troops, together with the church crowd went to destroy.
Who would have thought that the religion of the exiles will
be declared the only one in the country by the order of the
king? Whose fault was it that Haik became a testing ground for a
doctrine not approved in another country? Again questions that
need to be answered. The book describes the clash between the
royal regular troops and the priestly class, a relatively small force
of their supporters, who were making a last attempt to protect
their temples and fanes. After a long, brutal and conspiratorial
conflict, the priestly class is defeated, but it is not said where
the defeated but indomitable priests and the remnants of their
supporting army disappeared or went.
How was the Pavlikian movement formed and who were
their leaders?
45
In Armenian academic historiography, unfortunately,
there are no answers to these and many similar questions, so
one must rely on logic and common sense. It must be assumed
that the Pavlikian ideology and movement was developed and
introduced by wise priests, with their leader priest Vruir. What was
the development of this movement after King Trdat, who at the
end of his life bitterly regretted the “reform” he had made? Not
having an heir and a follower worthy of him, he was assassinated
by a conspiring cleric. Trdat D, the last king of the Haykazians
royal wealth, was killed.
After half a century of turbulent times, the Arshakuni
dynasty came to power in Armenia. During that time, the
Pavlikian movement was more organized and spread throughout
Armenia, which for seven centuries faced and fought against
foreign orders and customs. Later, it was redefined and, in
honor of the turning events in Tondrak village, received the
name Tondrakian movement. The Tondrakians, unlike the
Pavlikians, did not believe in the existence of the soul, rather
they interpreted the concept of the soul in a different way. The
Tondrakian movement received a greater response and support
in the Armenian world, because they, continuing the principles
of the Pavlikians, introduced a more perfect social system,
where the Armenian man passed from the status of a servant
to the status of a proprietor. That process lasted more than two
centuries and the Armenian world became stronger, brilliant
faces appeared, the most prominent of which were Grigor
Narekatsi and Smbat Zarehavantsi. The writer Mkrtich Sargsyan
gives us reliable information about that period in his historical
novel “Grigor Narekatsi”. First, I will present certain parts of the
book and then I will reveal what connection Grigor Narekatsi and
other Armenian geniuses had with the temple of Tir or Yereruik.
46
Genius is born at the demand of time. Natural or God-given
gifts accompany the person and push him to fictionalize the hot,
urgent, even explosive problems of the time. And the miracle of
revelation takes place. The individual, who was the birth of time,
becomes the parent of his time, throws himself even before his
time, as a spiritual legislator of his days, as a prophet who does
not recognize the boundaries of centuries and millennia. The
miracle of the revelation of a genius lies in the unity of God-
given gifts and the challenges of time.
What was happening in the Armenian world before the
appearance of Narekatsi, how was his birth prepared? The knife
had reached the bone, the Armenians’ patience had run out. For
two hundred years in a row, the misplaced hope of the liberation
uprising was smoldering and the struggle against the Arab
caliphate was becoming bitter. And finally, hope and imagination
became reality. The uprising of Sassoon and Khut people, led
by Hovnan Khutetsi, ended not only with the brilliant victory of
the Armenians, but also stimulated the liberation uprising of
Aghvank and Virk. The two-century Arab rule, despite the efforts
of the caliphate, was in agony and was rapidly collapsing...
Armenian statehood would be restored four and a half
centuries after the fall of the Arshakunyats kingdom...”
And who was the leader of the rebellion Hovnan Khutetsi, is
not mentioned or commented on, as if it was not so important.
In fact, it is very important, because Hovnan was the Tondrakian
comradeship ideologue and one of the freedom-loving fighters,
the heir of the priests bearing the symbol Cross-of-War, who,
together with his comrades in arms, rebelled and fought fiercely
not only against internal but also external enemies. He fought
for the sake of the noble idea of Armenian statehood, freedom
and honor. Despite the fact that the throne of statehood would
belong to the Bagratunis later they also found themselves ingrate
47
and with the “united efforts” of the clerics, they annihilated the
Tondraktsis in blood. Not long after that, Armenian statehood
also disappeared.
Was it a coincidence that after the Tondrakian movement,
the Armenian state also collapsed? There are no coincidences,
and in fact, the idea of national camaraderie was the main and
primary factor in preserving independence.
I got a little sidetracked and fell forward, but let me continue
my point.
Mkrtich Sargsyan made an interesting comparison between
Grigor Narekatsi and David of Sassoon.
“David of Sassoon is Grigor Narekatsi’s childhood friend. They
entered the arena together in the 10th century. At that time, the epic
story of the “Sasna Tsrer” was already being woven in Sasna and
Khut mountains. Armenians fought together: Tur Ketsaki (sward of
lightening) that would flash for centuries in the name of freedom
and justice. Kurkik Jalali’s (foal Jalali) thin croaking could already
be heard. The tongue-tied turnip eater which did not tolerate and
even in diaper destroyed the iron chains was strengthened by the
sufferings and bravery of the Armenians. He was fed with millet
bread and native love. His third blow, which sank Msra Melik, had
a continuous life and the reverberation of the blow mixed with the
thousand-year struggle for the survival of Armenians. In the end,
the liberation struggle reached its apotheosis: the freedom-loving
Armenian, David of Sassoon wins, and at the end, the liberation
struggle intertwines with the struggle against social injustices. The
last ray of the Sasna House, unable to struggle the evil, closes itself
in the rock and waits for the world to be destroyed and another to
be built...”
Always remember David’s last words who was killed by a
poisoned arrow: “My moth is from my person, it is my love that
killed me.” The real enemy hides under seven buffalo hides and
48
is afraid to fight us openly. He turns us into a moth that gnaws
away from the inside, the crossbreeds that carry our seed, a mass
that has lost the ability to think and analyze. In the basis of the
character of David of Sassoon, Smbat Zarehavantsi seems to be
meant, because he completely corresponds to the nature of the
character.
This is how the great Armenian historian Leo presents Smbat
Zarehavantsi.
“During the given period, a man named Smbat from
Zarehavan village of Tsaghkot province appeared in Tondrak
village of neighboring Apahunyats province and started preaching
his own doctrine. It was later named after the village, Tondrakian
movement. It is very unfortunate that only fragmentary and vague
information about that famous person remained. His activity has
only caused horror and anger to the clergy, which has left his work
in the dark at all costs, while that powerful peasant was a unique
phenomenon in the history of Armenian thinking and carried
universal traits in him. Smbat Zarehavantsi was a follower of our
nature-loving ancestors, and in his person the biological power of
all the gods was concentrated.
He had learned and mastered the basic natural sciences, as
well as astronomy and medicine, in the temple of Tir, Yereruik. In
Tondrak, he based his ideology on sun worship, which was very
natural, quite probable and fair. In the 9th-10th centuries, the
Armenian thought also returned to the ancient gods, from which
it had been removed centuries ago, but with which it had not
finally severed its connection. In Tondrak, the forces of nature
also supported Smbat Zarehavantsi. Besides the fact that he had
an excellent command of the natural sciences and magic, he was
also a high-class fighter, a connoisseur of martial arts. Opponents
and enemies were terrified of fighting with him. Besides having a
strong body, he was very flexible and resourceful. Collecting all
49
the information that is left about this personality, we get a picture
of a powerful versatility and it can be assumed that the character
of the main character of our epic is based on the nature of Smbat
Zarehavantsi, taking into account the fact that Zarehavantsi
also enjoyed great love and sympathy by the Armenian people.
However, the clergy did not like all that at all, and the bold
Tondrakian reformer was always persecuted.
It is the persecutions that bring out the severe and bright
outbreak of free thinking in the Armenian highlands. Religion
had petrified, became only a form. Clergy maintained its
prestige only through persecution. Conventionality had brought
everything into the framework of immobility. In such conditions,
free thought arises as a reaction against mental and spiritual
poverty. And it is natural that the idea born in such circumstances
would be strictly national and sociable, rejecting communal
orders and religions. Innovative, in the truest sense of the word,
the Tondrakians were the carriers of new ideas of the ancient
world.
Smbat Zarehavantsi achieved great success, along with his
words, his work went along. Tondraketsism was so powerful that
despite severe persecutions and prohibitions, its traces have
been imprinted until the 20th century and even nowadays.
Those who are familiar with Garegin Nzhdeh’s activity and
ideas can make a direct comparison between him and Smbat
Zarehavantsi. Smbat fought a life-and-death struggle with his
supporters against the Arabs, the local government and the
clergy. Nzhdeh fought against Turks and Bolsheviks in the same
way. Only with such comparisons will we be able to recognize
Zarehavanatsi, Hovnan Khutetsi, identify our unknown great
people. Until academic historiography does not highlight the
mission of these enlightened figures, it will remain, to say the
least, incomplete. Returning to Mkrtich Sargsyan’s historical
50
novel “Grigor Narekatsi”, it should be noted that the great writer
was able to create the true character of Narekatsi thanks to his
boundless imagination…
…as imagination created the world and will rule it forever.
A strong imagination gives birth to truth.
In the novel, there is a very interesting plot that presents the
connection between Narekatsi and Zarehavantsi and how Grigor
Narekatsi is sent secretly to Ani by Anania Narekatsi. In the end,
it turns out that Smbat Zarehavantsi followed him like a shadow
all the way and saved him from deadly troubles by the order
of Bishop Anania Narekatsi, who was also a secret Tondrakian.
The novel does not give the answer as to where Grigor Narekatsi
took refuge, but logic suggests that it was in the temple of Tir
and a rather long process, which would have been enough for
him to develop the poem “Matian Voghbergutian” (The Book
of Tragedy). Fortunately, two caves have been preserved in the
territory of the temple, which served as a residence for asceticism
during its entire existence.
When Grigor Narekatsi was creating his poem “The Book
of Tragedy” at exactly the same time Smbat Zarehavantsi was
creating his own “The Way of Truth” Tondrakian ideology, which
unfortunately was destroyed and did not reach us…
Everything turned upside down in the Armenian world when
the Bagratunis moved the capital to Ani, which caused bloody
clashes between the churchmen and the Tondrakian movement
and their supporters. As a result, the Tondrakian movement
drowned in blood and many emigrated.
The first great emigration of the Armenians in the world
took place in the 4th-11th centuries, the main reason of which
was religious, ideological, and value system contradictions. For
the sake of truth, it should be said that in the Armenian reality,
the great emigration of Pavlikians and Tondrakians was mainly
51
to Crimea, Poland and Germany (Bavaria). They are still not in
solidarity with today’s Armenia and its professed values. At the
crossroads of millennia, we denied and forgot the honorable
qualities of our nature-loving ancestors. We went along a
crooked road. We rejected their faith and covenant, as a result,
we remained rejected in today’s world. We call coincidence
the phenomenon the causes of which are beyond our horizons
and perceptions. Every movement and change in the universe
happens in a regular manner and there is nothing outside of it
and nothing accidental.
Is it a coincidence that the Armenian people and the
Armenian statehood have found themselves in this situation? Is
this situation caused by the activities of some people nowadays?
No, that situation and the ruling persons have causes and
consequences which are beyond the understanding of many
people.
As a conclusion to the revelation, I quote the conclusion
section from my book “All That Is Necessary”.
“We learn our morality from nature through reason which
shows us the relations necessary to existing, reasoning, rational
beings. We will understand what our responsibilities are to
ourselves and to others. When we wish to please nature and live
according to the purposes ascribed to her, we are bound to do
our utmost for the welfare of the human race, as well as for our
own happiness and self-preservation.
Refusing to delve mentally into an unknown future, we
will become fair-minded, humane, benevolent, be forgiving
of the shortcomings and delusions of our fellows, strive to
improve ourselves, we will extinguish the passions in which the
indulgence may harm us, we will find lawful enjoyments, and we
will renounce all that is done to harm society and ourselves.
52
By damaging and distorting reality, faith in the future is put
in the greatest danger.
Finally, we will understand the absurdity of all those illusions
and unnatural tales, which have been used by those who disrupt
the course of nature for centuries to perpetuate their sick desire
to drive the human race into bankruptcy.
Therefore, it is necessary to sober up and act with common
sense.
Let the human mind wake up.
Let him become strong and powerful and be ashamed of
falling into snares because of his own gullibility.
Let the rulers of nations understand the full danger of
unnatural means, with which charlatans have tried to “recover
humanity from evil” and subjected them to terrible shocks many
times. Let’s abandon baseless, false and bigoted morality, which
will lead to the destruction of society.
Let us throw away that morality which rests only on ghosts,
falsehoods, and visions, and which truth does not need for its
confirmation.
Let’s develop a healthy understanding of virtue and not
accept as a way to achieve it the imitation of dangerous patterns
that favor only one class, following their views and practices.
Virtue is considered to be those actions, views and abilities that
are useful for the whole society in general and are necessary
for all people and nature.
Is not nature revealed to all who desire true instruction?
Doesn’t reason always say that the human was created for
self-preservation, love and for making his existence happy?
Doesn’t everything that surrounds a person tell him that his own
happiness and awareness of the future depends on what he is
connected with? Doesn’t the simplest experiment prove that by
53
harming others, especially nature, a person harms himself and
arouses the hatred of everyone towards him?
Do not everyday examples clearly show that there is no such
vice that does not punish its bearer, and that there is no virtue
that does not earn its bearer respect?
In order to walk firmly on the path of virtue, let a person
forever leave his leaders, who have only deafened, blinded and
deluded him.
In his activity, let him not be guided by dubious counsels,
which order crimes more than praiseworthy deeds.
Let him not turn for advice to the enigmatic and irrelevant
oratories of spiritual soothsayers, which can only sow bigotry,
mistrust and confusion.
Let his actions be evaluated not by the benefit that they
bring only to one class, only to one sect, only to one party, but
by how much his actions are useful to nature and the entire
human race.
Let him renounce the unnatural faith which dulls man, and
let him restore divine reason, which is unjustly slandered and
belittled by all profiteers who fear it.”
54
What is the point of postulating a being more
incomprehensible than nature in order to explain the
functions of nature? Will people become more intelligent and
developed if they think that some kind of being inaccessible
to their understanding is the cause of the phenomena they
encounter, which cannot be explained by natural causes?
Can they, with the help of an indefinable being whom they
mistakenly call “god”, better understand the Nature that
constantly affects them?
Only the Armenian language gives the explanation of all
this.
God literally means here, i.e. everywhere, i.e. Nature.
When I say God, I mean Nature, and it is not for nothing that
Armenian is considered the language of Nature, God. Words say
everything, in Armenian God and Nature are identical. Nature
is an object image of God. If by God we mean the physical laws
of the universe, then it exists, but it does not serve to satisfy the
emotional demands of man...
The relationship between Man and Nature is, to put it mildly,
very flawed. The imperfection of human society gives rise to
suspicion. It has reached monstrous proportions, among nations
and peoples, which even the theory of relativity was unable to
counter.
Of course, there will be people who will be suspicious of
this revelation, but I can say surely that this is a demand and
compulsion of Nature, and it chose me as a means.

in those caves, taking advantage of the temple’s scientific
treasures.
Near the temple, a structure very similar to it, but smaller
in size (it seems to be its model), was built, which was most
likely the priest’s residence and was successively transferred
to his spiritual heirs, the Pavlikians, and then also the leaders
of the Tondrakians.
The fact of the existence and activity of the temple for one
and a half thousand years has been carefully hidden from us,
which has had a terrible negative impact on the creation of a
true ARMENIAN for all subsequent generations.
What would we be like if we were brought up by the holy-
saint Tir, Yereruik temple and its geniuses? Mesrop Mashtots,
Movses Khorenatsi, Davit Anhaght, Anania Shirakatsi, Grigor
Narekatsi, Smbat Zarehavantsi, Hovnan Khutetsi and many more
devotees.
The answer is one.
I can surely say that truly ARMENIAN

was called the capital (in Armenian it sounds like mother city).
The main center of Anahit’s worship was Yerznka, a province in
High Haik. Until 301, the province was called Anahtakan. The
main holiday dedicated to Anahit was Easter. His symbol was a
grain (z hatik- a grain). The stork is also a symbol of the goddess.
The expression “The stork brought a child” comes from the
ancient period, from the worship of the goddess Anahit.
Tir is the god of science, education, and light in the
Armenian theology, the scribe of the gods, the explainer of
dreams, the recorder of good and evil deeds. In Armenian
mythology, Tir is also known as the Writer, he writes down all the
deeds of people. The symbol of Tir is the rainbow. The rainbow
with its colors is considered to be the belt of the god Tir, which
strips the earth. Not much from the worship of Tir has reached
us, because after the invasion of Christianity in 301, the first blow
was delivered to the worship of Tir. And, it is no coincidence,
that the temple of Tir in Zvartnots was the first to be destroyed.
In order to subjugate Armenians, the new religion had to attack
the script first. The pre-Mashtots writing systems were banned,
the system of chronology was changed, which made the entire
history of the Armenians null, the Armenian script, singing, and
even dancing were banned.
It was illogical to have a patron god of education and writing,
science, but not to have a script.
I will make one more quote from Hamlet Martirosyan, the
head of the Ancient Civilization Research Center: “The more I
think, research, and understand what a person should be like
and what he is like today, the more I grieve and separate myself
from today’s world, people, and my soul is filled with the anxiety
of disaster. When I think, research, understand what qualities the
Armenian should have, a ray of hope is born in my soul like the

first ray of the rising Sun. He who possesses such qualities can
transform the world and eliminate all troubles.
The solutions to the problems of the future are in the past
and are related to the awakening of the Armenian.”
