lesson or presenting the The teacher will greet the student, and they will pray to be led by one of the students .
new lesson
The classroom's setup and cleanliness will be looked into by the teachers.
The instructor will ensure that the classroom is set up properly and that each student is
seated comfortably for the entire period of class.
The class secretary will check the attendance & the teacher will collect it before the class
ends.
Students will be reminded by the teacher that engaging in class will improve their chances
of learning.

REVIEW OF THE PREVIOUS TOPICS

 The learner will be able to review the previous topic.
 The teacher will present some graph that related to the previous topic and the
learner will explain it.
Then the teacher will ask these follow-up questions:
1. What is the formula for getting the circumference of a circle?
2. In getting the area of a circle, what formula should we use?

MOTIVATION:

ACTIVITY 1: STOP, DROP, AND ROLL

 The learner will stand up and act like a clock, using their hands like the hands of a
clock.
1. 9 o’clock
Establishing a purpose 2. 12:30 in the afternoon
for the lesson 3. 6 o’clock
4. 8:55 in the evening
5. 1 o’clock
 The teacher will ask the students what they have observed while doing the activity.
 The teacher will reveal the topic for today’s discussion.
 The topic is about the angles and theorems of circle.

INTRODUCING THE TOPIC

 The teacher will ask the students if they are already familiar with the following
figures shown in the presentation.

Presenting
examples/instances of
the new lesson

 The teacher will further discuss or give some clue as to what the figure that is
shown means.

DISCUSSION PROPER
The teacher and the class will have a discussion about Theorems of Circles.

 Circle theorems will be discussed in this section, along with their application,
justification, and methods for using them to resolve more challenging issues.

numerous applications in engineering and design.

There are seven main circle theorems:

1. Alternate segment circle theorem
2. Angle at the center circle theorem

3. Angles in the same segment circle theorem
4. Angle in a semi-circle theorem
5. Chord circle theorem
6. Tangent circle theorem
7. Cyclic quadrilateral circle theorem

 The teacher will tell the students that the first three theorems will be discussed at
that meeting, and the other four theorems will be discussed at the next meeting
because they only have limited time.

Circle Theorem 1: The alternate segment

 The angle formed by a chord and a tangent is equal to the angle that the identical
chord occupies in the alternate segment.

 How the alternate segment theorem works

1. Find the critical locations on the circle for the theorem.
2. To choose one of the two angles, use additional angle facts.
3. The other missing angle can be determined using the alternate segment
theorem.

 The teacher will have some sort of class discussion about it.

Circle Theorem 2: Angles at the center and at the circumference

 The angle at the center is twice as large as the angle at the perimeter.

 How the angle at the center theorem works

1. Find the critical locations on the circle for the theorem.
2. To calculate the angle at the center or the angle at the circumference, use
additional angle facts.
3. The other missing angle can be stated using the angle at the center theorem.

 The teacher will have some sort of class discussion about it.

ACTIVITY 2: AST (Alternate Segment Theorem) or ACT (Angle at the Center Theorem)
Instructions: If the figure illustrates the Alternate Segment Theorem, write AST, and if it
illustrates the Angle at the Center Theorem, write ACT.

Circle Theorem 3: Angles in the same segment
 Angles within a section are all the same.

 How the angle in the same segment theorem works
