Level of perception of junior high school towards the implementation of
modular learning

Table 1 presents the level of perception of junior high school towards


the implementation of modular learning. The data shows the level of perception
which ranges from 2.29 to 2.69 with the mean of 2.52, all describe as moderately
aware. The perception with the highest mean value includes high self-motivation
because of communication to the teachers; it enhanced student’s critical thinking;
and learners can able to reflect on their learning experiences by means of effective
performance feedback from their teacher. The perception with the lowest mean
value include parent’s lack of knowledge to academically guide their children;
modular learning tends to motivate learners; and learners can concentrate even
there’s a lot of distraction like household chores. The findings imply that the
learner-respondents are moderately aware along the implementation of modular
learning. These perception includes the level of understanding of the junior high
students towards the implementation of modular learning. The hypothesis that

states that the perception of learner-respondents fair is rejected. The seemingly


moderate level of perception can be attributed to the learner respondent’s
attendance to the activities related on the impact of modular learning towards the
level of perception of learner respondents.
