1.0 OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:

The objective of this project is to bring light in terms of planning, design and management of
the construction of the aforementioned Proposed Multi-Storey Office building in order to
provide good atmospheric condition for efficient and effective work performance.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK:

2.1 Consultancies Required:

Consultancy is required on the construction of proposed Prototype of three different types of

Primary Health Care Centre ; Health Post, Primary Health Care Centre (8 HRS Duty) and
Comprehensive Primary Health Care Centre to be effectively carried out required the
engagement of technocrats in the Building industries; Design appropriately in their respective
area of profession. The professionals required are; Architect, Structural Engineer, Mechanical
Engineer, Electrical Engineer and Quantity Surveyor of which one will be chosen as a prime
consultant.

2.2 Nature of work of the Consultants

The following services are required;

i. Architect: Architectural Design and Drawing of the proposed office Building and
Landscaping of visible surrounding of the PHCB premises.

ii. Structural Engineer: Structural design and detailing

iii. Mechanical Engineer: Mechanical design and drawing

iv. Electrical Engineer: Electrical design and drawing

v. Quantity Surveyor: Quantity Surveying work, Preparation of the Bill of Quantities (Boq)
and Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME)

2.3 Duration of the Consultant work

i. The entire Consultancy work is expected to have three (3) months duration from
the date of award

ii. The managerial work is expected to be eighteen (18) months with effect from
the commencement of the construction work.

Design and Submission of Relevant documents of the Proposed Pototypes: Health Post,
Primary Health Care Centre and Comprehensive Primary Health Care Centre in Soft and hard
copies. ;
5.0 EXPECTED RESULTS

The following services and results are desired;

i. Architect: Architectural design and Drawing of the Pototype;

 Health Post,
 Primary Health Care Centre in two types – A storey and Bungalow Building.
 Comprehensive Health Care Centre in two types – Storey and Bungalow Building
and Landscaping of visible surrounding of the PHCC premises

ii. Structural Engineer: Structural Design (Calculation and drawings) and Detailing.

iii. Mechanical Engineer: Design on Mechanical works including Lifts and Drawings

iv. Electrical Engineer: Design on Electrical works and drawings.

v. Quantity Surveyor: Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and Documents for bidding.
