LESSON NAME: A tale of two birds

SUBJECT: English
GRADES: Grade 6

OVERVIEW
This session is based on the NCERT chapter https://ncert.nic.in/textbook/pdf/fepw101.pdf
where students learn about the two birds and their habitat and how the company of persons
affects the behavior of the birds.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

 Understands the story.

 Classify the change in behaviour that develops with the one's company.
 Know about the different qualities of people.

ACTIVITIES AND INSTRUCTIONS:

 In slide 2, there will be a general discussion.

 In slide 3, students will a watch a YouTube video of the lesson.
 In the activity on slide 4, students are asked to drag the images due to which the
baby separates from their mother.
 In the activity on slide 5, the students were asked to find one truth and one lie from
both lines.
 In the activity on slide 6, the students will solve the puzzle by referring to the images.
 In the activity on slide 7, the students will need to remove the sticky notes, see an
image, and do the activity according to the colour key. Suppose the student removes
the yellow colour sticky note; then, he needs to frame a sentence.
 In the activity on slide 8, the students were asked to answer the question.
 In the activity on slide 9, the students must write the antonyms of the words given.
 In the activity on slide 10, the students have to answer the question given as a pole
within 30 seconds.

ANSWERS:

 The answer to slide 4 is 1, 4, and 5.

 The answer to slide 5 is 1- Truth is the first bird that is hard-spoken, and a lie is the
first bird that lives with the Rishi. 2- Truth is the second bird is soft-spoken; lie is the
second bird that lives with the robbers.
 The answer to slide 6 is 1- forest, 2- king, 3-robber, 4- bird, and 5- cave.
 The answer to slide 7 is that the students will give different answers. The images of
Robbers, monk, birds, Jungle, storm, and cave are given.
 The answer to the 8 slide is 1- 2, 2-3, 3-1
  The answer to the 9 slide is 1- young-old, tall-short, rich-poor, strong-week, sunny
day -cloudy day.
 The answer to 1 slide is 1- due to a huge thunderstorm, 2-in rishi ashram, 3- in a
robbers cave, 4- under the tree, 5- the words of a holy man.
