HISTORY OF ECNHS-CABEZAS ANNEX

Trece Martires City National High School – Cabezas Annex now (The Eugenio Cabezas National High School) was
established on June 2007 at Brgy. Cabezas, Trece Martires City. The school composed of 17 teachers and A head
teacher. It was also operated in three different places for almost three months. The first location was at Palawit
Elementary School, then in Barangay Church and also in Barangay Hall due to unavailability of the classroom. After
several months, the school building plan and the budget were materialized through the effort of our Hon. Mayor
Melencio L. De Sagun Jr.

The school raised different funds through acquiring school equipment and supplies like cabinets, blackboards, chairs
and others needed for the school to be operated. Other supply materials were provided from the Division Office of
Trece Martires City. There were lacking of classrooms and facilities nevertheless it did not hindrance for the school
and teachers to continue its purpose to build this community where learners find a better and conducive learning.

Trece Martires City National High School -Cabezas Annex strengthening its mission and vision is continuously
evolving with the hope of improving its services to cater the needs of its clienteles-the students. Being one of the
annexes, catering more than 720 students, the administration, the educators have managed to maintain a great
desire for success.

In 2015-2016, the school started to process the requirements for the separation from Trece Martires City National
High School to Eugenio Cabezas National High School. This aim for a continuous and organized academic activities. It
was realized on account of unrelenting support of our enthusiastic and untiring stake holders and teachers including
the Local Government Unit for the betterment of the students of ECNHS- Cabezas Annex.

Four story new building and covered court were built thru the administration of Cong. Luis “Jun Jun” Ferrer on the
year 2018.

Eugenio Cabezas National High School was the official name of the school in August 2020. It was provided by 14
teachers coming from Division Office. Four story new building and covered court were built funded thru the
administration of Cong. Luis “Jun Jun” Ferrer.
