I. Objectives:
At the end of the session, the participants should be able to:
1. give the definition and charactersitics of an editorial article;
2. identify and explain the structure of an editorial;
3. analyze the given editorial sample;
4. discuss tips to win in editorial writing competitions; and
5. produce and submit an editorial article

II. Expected Output:


After the session, the participants are expected to identify the salient
concepts and features of an editorial article. Moreover, the student-participants
are encouraged to produce and submit an output based on the given topic.

III. Key Understanding Content:


This aims to capacitate budding journalists with the indispensable knowledge
and skills in editorial writing. Furthermore, concepts that shall be learnt in this
lecture would be of great help toward the participants’’ holistic development in the
realm of campus journalism.
