PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. Project Title: HOUSE in BLOOM

II. Project Location: Comon High School, Comon, Tabaco City

III. Rationale:

Walkways, roadways, pathways, parks at your home and even in your dining
table; you can always see given plants and colorful flowers. They are the main
contributor in the beautification of our environment. Plants that increase positive
energy and flower that pleased our eyes and smell because of their different colors
and lovely scents.
Preserving, caring and reproducing plants and flowers can greatly help not just
to the beautification of our environment but also a help brings back the essence of
preventing the aggravations of global warming and climate changes, the Supreme
Student Government of Comon High School will make a mini-garden with a
variety of plants and flowers. It will also use plastic bottles as flower pots and
other recyclable materials that can be used in making the said project.

IV. Beneficiaries of the Project


This project will benefit the following:
School - in terms of beautifying some of the area of the school ground, adding
colors by planting or displaying flowering plants.
Community – this will encourage to take part of the activity in making the school
attractive

V. Technical Description
House in Bloom is designed to add beauty for the entire school as it opens the
school year on September. This also aim to use the recycled materials as we will
be able to contribute and help the environment as plastic bottles found everywhere.
Through this people foresee the importance of recycling and encourage them to
adapt this kind of activity.

VI. Project Methodology


In relation to the DepEd memorandum with regards to the flowering plants in
the school, the Supreme Student Government would also like to be part of this
beautification project of the school. Even students cannot attend physically to the
school due to the global pandemic, we would still want to be part of this.
Following the IATF protocol for health and safety precautions.
The SSG officers will ask the community to lend some of their spare flowering
plants as support also to the Brigada Eskwela.
Officers will do a fundraising activity, which they will sell customized
keychains to the community, proceeds of this activity will be added to the fund in
the House in Bloom project for better implementation of the project.
