5. Project Type (choose one):

_X_ Industrially Inspired, at least three “Industrial Interview Form – Industrially Inspired”
must be submitted along with this scope form for it to be considered a complete submission

__ Entrepreneurial, at least three “Industrial Interview Form – Entrepreneurial” must be

submitted along with this scope form for it to be considered a complete submission
6. Project Description (500 words or less): Begin by writing a background for your project that
adequately educates a bachelor-level engineer about the needs, constraints, and specifications that
led to the formulation of this design project. This information should primarily come from your
“Industrial Interview Form” and may also be supplemented with additional research. Then, briefly
describe the product you will design in the coming semester that will address these needs,
constraints, and specifications.

project aims to provide energy storage and heat to refugee houses using green hydrogen
produced through electrolysis. By using renewable energy and water as feedstock, we can
achieve zero CO2 emissions. Green hydrogen is produced by splitting water molecules into
hydrogen and oxygen using electricity, sourced from renewable energy sources.
The produced green hydrogen can be stored and used as a clean energy source for power and
heat.
This solution reduces CO2 emissions, promotes renewable energy adoption, and improves the
wellbeing of refugees. Establishing the necessary infrastructure and collaborating with
stakeholders are important for successful implementation. Overall, our project offers a
sustainable and zero-emission solution to address the energy needs of refugee houses.
7. Anticipated Prototype and Its Specifications: Please discuss the anticipated prototype your
project will produce. Your project should yield one of 3 kinds of prototypes: (1) Physical – a
physical rendering of your project, (2) Computer based – an app, simulation, building plans, etc.,
or (3) Hybrid – a combination of physical and computer based. Be sure to address how your
prototype will address the needs, constraints, and specifications for your product.

Need- Electrolysis in order to produce Hydrogen.

Need- Vessels to storage hydrogen.
Need – Renewable regarding to the electricity.

Constrains- Reactor sized.

Specification- amount of electricity needed.

8. Multidisciplinary Components: Please describe how the students from each department will
contribute to the prototype.
